  • 34 people would rather walk...

  • I think this Jet Pack takes momentum from its name similarity with Martin Marietta. I originally thought it to be a product of this famous missiles engineering company.

  • Феерическая машина!

  • Well... make it :)

  • neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

  • i want this at home :P

  • a dream come true :)

  • thats a new zealand invention we win

  • This is a cool concept but the idea of it as a jetpack is silly because its to big and not compact. I would suggest turning it into a hover bike or board

  • @animebilly hovering backpack?

  • cool now cars are going to be half the weight 10 times as expensive and 70% slower! Pretty good!

  • "nothing to do here" *flies away*

  • Dear Santa? Well I hope you get a present better than an indoor jetpack for x-mas because I want one too!

  • Dear Santa...

  • That's how your children will come to visit you at the nursing home.

  • Hey...! this technology the thai peple that to make its too.

  • this guy must have fell alot

  • i want one

  • The future of the work route.

  • Considering how big that thing is, why don't they make it so you can sit whilst flying lol.

  • Dear Santa...

  • It's as ginormous as cell phones were when they first came out.

  • Forget that damn car!!! The future is staring at us!!!

    Frrrrreeeeeeeddddddoooooooommmmmm

  • Who said kiwi's can't fly?

  • People keep complaining that its too big, its too heavy, yadda yada.

But in truth, this is the first functional jetpack that could keep a person aloft longer than 20 seconds! It is also by far the most stable one I have seen - the guy is freaking floating like its nothing. Last but not least, however, they actualy designed style into it. A couple more years and who knows? just astounding

  • is ths hollywood 3d animation?

  • Giving a new definition to 'hard landing'.

  • I want it for going to work!! ^_^

    lovely!

  • now all we need is a shrink ray...

  • I can do that when I have baked beans for breakfast :)

  • yeah.. in a couple of 100 years these are so small that they can mount them in the shoes

  • i can see all the rich men doing it in a year or two! simply amazing!

  • this is way to dangerous to be used outside. The thingy is to heavy to be used without landing "feets", and those are not flexible, so when you land and the feets touch the ground you easely can be buried under the jet pack. better to use weels attached to the feets! This also would enable you to do a "rolling" start. This Jetpack is big enough to add some parachute also.

  • @Phantombatman great idea! tell it to Martin

  • Woeld be great to fly it one's :)))).. just one's

  • Dear santa

  • ..the music is very tranquilling......what about noise?

  • couldn't they redesign it to make it look like a motorbike?

  • FAKE!!!

  • @JhosefL its not fake

  • @KiLLeRxxBuNNy They clearly photo shoped it

  • @JhosefL just look at his other video

  • Me: Is that a real jetpack?

    Noope. It's Chuck Testa.

  • woooooooow it got a TV!!

  • hahah fuck yes, HUMANS CAN FLY NOW GUYS WOOOHOO

  • too small

  • too big , but this is better than past iventions: none.

  • Fuel source ?

  • @FatTonyCologino puppies, kittens & any other cute things you can think of...blended.

  • @9mizzle NICE! All you have to do then is go down to the animal shelter and get free fuel!

  • @FatTonyCologino yh, or the orphanage.....

  • CAN IT BE USED TO FLY FROM THE COUCH TO THE FRIDGE TO GET A BEER?

  • very discreet

  • i look for futuer

  • autonomy?

  • that seems practical

  • the jetsons !!!!!!!!

  • Ironic, how the video is "on the rise"

  • @2ndBestSolution There's nothing ironic about that. It's called a 'coincidence'.

  • @2ndBestSolution Why is that ironic.... rather, isn't it rather 'fitting' not 'ironic'.... :S

  • pretty cool ! but what the flight time limits, duration? are they electric,or fuel powered and how practical is it?

  • : )

Something like this was just science fiction on Saturday morning shows when I was a kid.

    Livin' in the future b@#tches.

  • And now... to complete the project...put some a automatic machine gun, some missiles, and lasers!!!

  • I bet that the two top comments are very smart :D

  • Shoot at the tanks and Kaboom!!!! no more flying guy :(

  • this is space marine from warhammer 40000

  • shittin in the air?

  • FAKE

  • @WAsucksblackducks lol, being so serious

  • i purchased one of these last month, its awesome...

    come see

  • Personally if I was piloting a jetpack I would wanna sit down.

  • ooooooh....I want one!

  • but... will it blend?

  • @rockstar12120 That is getting so fucking annoying.

  • I guarantee in 60 years this will be used in documentaries to show how clunky and old-timey this sort of technology was at its beginning.

  • @stupidteen63 60 years? mmm I said 30 lol...

  • Very cool, but have you heard about the man with the golden voice?

  • Not so much a jet "pack"...that thing is huge

  • @pCODFATHERq did they say it was a small pack?

  • The guide price for the recreational version of the Martin Jetpack™ is US$100,000 (plus delivery, and tax and duties if any) and may be subject to adjustment by MAC prior to execution of the Purchase Agreement.

This or a BMW M5?! Hmmm, hard choice.

  • @ryouga707

this is more convinient for parking

  • I expected Jetpacks to be smaller, how the f*** am I gonna carry that around and use it when i need it!!!

  • To HEAR what is sounds like outside go here:

    watch?v=YxHL55BIjj8&feature=related

  • Awesome

  • that is cool

  • but will it blend?

  • That's some ''Kickass'' stuff

  • vip just means someone who won't crash it

  • Now we can drop bombs over Westboro baptist church :)....seriously :/

  • Already knew a jetpack was possible doesn't really amaze me. Do you know that there trying to make flying cars too, which is also possible. Most of the scifi. out there is possible(except lightsabers and some other stuff.). Things like the stormtrooper guns, virtual worlds, androids, and alot more are possible and sooner or later will be invented and broadcasted and show to the people.

  • You can reference this technology as far back as 1979 with a military promotional video that CBS ran as a news story for commanders in the field not a thought into the future but footage of actual footage of practical use in the field .The problem with this is not even fuel its that people would try to use this in there everyday travel and it would open issues with dmv and the faa hieght limitations conventional laws of driving and threats to civilian pop thats why so little is every done !

  • But will it blend?

  • Try clamping that !

  • i bet

  • sub to meeeeeeeeee

  • dear santa

  • of course its a white guy

  • it would be so much easier to get to class with that

  • Ok cool, but, when can I count on bionic organs so that I can have a life expectancy of 500 years?

  • i want it

  • Yes, it can fly. But, will it blend?

  • About fucking time. We need more jetpacks.

  • Looks like something out of portal.

  • I wonder how high you could go?

  • @xXTheEpicNinjaXx 5000ft +

  • @xXTheEpicNinjaXx the sky is the limit ;)

  • not reeeaaaally JAMESBOND TINY JET PACK PULLING OUT YOUR BACKPACK

  • ha good vid

  • FAKE!

  • $100,000 fuck that...

    ill stay grounded

  • Notice the guy at 1:05 has ear muffs on....Dam this thing must be loud.

  • i have 3 of these.

  • I want it !!!

  • with i have one

  • I bet they have the music going to cover up how fucking loud it is.

  • @ODominator17 I had to go look at one of their earlier videos to hear it - *not* what you'd call stealthy!

  • wonder how loud that thing is....

  • Is it just me or is that a refrigerator on his back...

  • I always thought fans would be better than jets with jet engines youll burn your spine off while electric powered fans will cool it. (a jet powered jet pack would be awesome still)

  • lol, 'On The RISE', get it? :P

  • one day a troll will use that to be an airborn troll, problems?

  • Jetpack: ZrrrZmmmmzrzrzrZoeemmm

Taliban: dasio asdas allah dsaldnas suicide?!

    BAm , dead

lol this thing wont work in army , yet

  • So in 2009 its 75k,so its like maybe 199.99 now?

  • i bet the US military is keeping a real close eye on this program

  • @ogmog168 they will put some galiting gun on the sides and test me on the battlefiel for sure and make a bulletbroof window for the driver :P

  • @ogmog168 i doubt it will go through....its too big and not manouverable enough to work in war....plus there is no cover in the air excpet other people with jetpacks so flying ducks?

  • @ogmog168 If you don't think the US military is 100 steps past this you're sadly mistaken

  • @ogmog168 yes because a jet-pack the size of a small helicopter and 5 times the cost i totally worth it.

  • @ogmog168 i bet the us military has better then this.

  • @ogmog168 i bet you darpa has already come up with something like this :)

  • @ogmog168 the military has jets that supersonic hovercrafts that can go on land and water planes that drive themselves, and a lazer beam gun you really think they have not made 100 of these

  • @matshadwhite Comma's... use them.

  • Is it stable in windy conditions??

  • airplane is to car, as jetpack is to motorcycle?

  • 0:45 incoming call hahaha

  • o:45 incoming call hahaha

  • $400,000 to fly for 12 seconds isn't so efficient

  • @cxrodformrx the price has come down to $75K US now its actual flying time is 30min approx.

  • I want to buy

    How much price؟

  • @HDmy1 Cost's $75k US

  • olha isso

  • Cool!

I'd take one - but with footrest :)

  • These things are so safe nowdays plus u always have a backup shoot

  • Wow is all any1 could say

  • What happens if one of those fans goes out?

  • @crizcray take one guess))))

  • add some Gatling guns so i could just be like kickass

  • WAY TO BIG

  • people are so dump the 400,000 dollar refrense IS FROM TEAM FORTRESS 2 its a joke

  • Oh hia buddy

  • Call Of Duty Year 2050 "Enemy Jetpack Incoming" :L

  • kiwi ingenuity strikes again

  • lol in 20 years or so, we will look at this the same way we look at a windows 97 pc

  • @007king94 doubt that. said the same thing about jetpacks 20 years ago. didnt we? said the same thing about hover cars, and all of that futuristic sci-fi stuff. and did it happen? nope. so dont get your hopes up.

  • @epicawesomesauceguy There's no need for hover cars though. There's no infrastructure that's needed for it.

Until we build something that floats in the sky or we build a building thats twice the height of the Burj Khalifa where if you want to go to the 2000th floor where it be alot more efficient to have parking port/bay in the middle or up top. Until we get the infrstracture there's just no need for hover cars.

  • @redlightning0001 also the fact that you don't want 2 billion people flying around without any form of guidance (lanes, streets etc.)

  • @epicawesomesauceguy It's unfortunate though it would have been cool

  • Not exactly a space saver though :L

  • How are the most jet packs so stabilised?

  • Why don't all the nerds just leave NamesROverated the fuck alone. He already said it was a joke.

Damn you all need to lighten the fuck up and stop taking things so literally.
