1973 Opel GT

I have a 1972 Opel GT, and the Solex carb is a pain. Anybody replace the Solex with a Weber? What are the problems?

i remember those, my uncle was a car dealer at South Shore Buick in Massachusetts in the early 70s. He drove one over to our house and I went for a ride in it. As I remember the lights popped up manually (from inside the car).....not on an electric motor.
