  • Really? Do you guys need translation? Simple observation is enough for you to learn how to cook this stuff! Turn of the volume if you don't like hearing the tagalog/English mixture. Trolls!

  • This is a pretty simple high calorie snack! Nom nom~~~

The wrapping part took a while though... I was like... "Just wrap it already!!!" But I guess you were trying to take is slowly for people who are slow. xD

I find this snack tastier with some powdered cheese sprinkled on it. :) It can't get any cheesier than that. :D

  • It taste like shit!

  • O wow!!!!! Those look bomdigadelicious!!!(: thx!!!

  • ENGLISH motherfucker!!! DO YOU SPEAK IT?????

  • @jaypark2027 why do you insist on English for every video? (anticipates very stupid answer)

  • @jaypark2027 It says "Panlasang Pinoy". Clearly, it's intended to be understood by Filipinos or those who know how to speak Filipino. duh. U can put it on mute, then still understand it anyway, not unless you really require everyone to be like you, plain ignorant.

  • ahhh I remember that time when my dad cooked me food all the time and my mom busy at work providing money and food and play football with me, meanwhile me dad`s doing the dishes.

  • Hahaha daming comment

  • I eat the lumpia wrapper by itself whenever my mom cooks with them when I was a child... Not sure if that was safe or not but THEY WERE GOOD

  • I'd expect more from greek or who ever you are..that type of cheese sticks , Id expect asian too cook cheese sticks.

thumbs down ,GET back in the kitchen and try agian....!!! you lazy sob. your not worthy of putting anything on youtube..

and in the word's of Gordon Rmasay...GET OUT , GET OUT, GET OUTTTT you Donkey...! ! ! !!

  • @wildshotsintheair lol. he's not greek or something...he's asian... He's not trying to impress anybody... ,it's just the most basic plain cheesesticks

  • @wildshotsintheair bit rude.

  • @wildshotsintheair How about taking these ideas as small 'party snacks'... not as sophisticated cooking. By the way he's from the Philippines. hahaha you fell on your own sword.

  • who's cooking? ,is it Latka?

  • thanks alot, was wondering what you used to seal the tip of the wrapper? is it just water?

  • You basically get a pot, pour some oil in it (didn't specify on what kind, but I don't think it really matters), and the fry them til they're golden brown. After, lay them on a plate covered with a paper towel so that it will absorb the oil.

  • You'll notice that I cut the cheese stick the long way. You'll only need a small slice. And by the way, I prefer to use the Filipino cheese over any others because of the distinct taste. Fold the two sides, just like we're doing origami. Once it's been folded, you just have to roll it. Then at the end, we'll just need to use a little bit of water so that the end will be sealed. And there you have it, there's our cheese stick. The next part is pretty self-explanatory.

  • For all you babies, here's a translation -

Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy. We are going to make cheese sticks. It's easy to make them, and these are the only ingredients that we need: spring roll pastry wrapper (or lumpia wrapper), cooking oil, and cheddar cheese. Let's start making the cheese sticks. The first thing we need to do is wrap the cheese sticks in the lumpia wrappers. Just get a plate, put the lumpia wrapper and then the cheese stick.

  • nakapag try na ako nyan nagustuhan ng mga pamangkin ko

  • i like to use mozzarella its less intense than cheddar and its stretchier

  • The Chinese food items are very tasty in general...but I think the majority of them are not healthy.

Personally I like the BBQ ( or roast ? ) goose from the Southern Chinese cuisine, or the dumplings with a little broth from Shanghai.

  • I find it funny that there are people who mock his way of teaching... Even if you don't frickin' understand tagalog, you still have your EYES. The ingredients are pretty self-explanatory, don't you think?

Don't let the language be a barrier. Ask if you don't know what you need to know rather than just flat out complain.

    Or you'll just look stupid.

  • ' I need subtitles, because I'm too fucking stupid to follow a video with only 3 ingredients! '

  • @gyqz

    Lol, well said!

I just don't understand how people need a bouncing ball to go with easy-to-see recipes like this.

Cooking is about interpretation anyway. If you need exact words for a 3-step recipe like this, then don't bother trying to cook. Get someone else to do it.

  • Looks dlicious, didn't get the english at all.

  • mas masarap ito kung binudburan nya ng kaunting asukal bago iprinito.

  • I'm agree with you @lizthewizful , is simple...

1 Sheet of spring roll pastry

    1 Piece of Cheddar chesse

one corner, other corner, roll it... and

Glue the last corner with oil or something sticky. Can't you see the video or what?

  • @Victrixiux

Oh, for those sheets, all you need to do is dab the corner with water to make it stick. :)

  • I LOVE THIS. I MUST TRY THIS. CAN YOU USE A DIPPING SAUCE WITH IT AND IF SO WHAT KIND?

  • What the heck

  • Blah blah blah blah cheese stick blah blah blah cheese stick! Lol

  • i just tried this, and it was awesome!

  • like this if you have those plates

  • ..and for today's debate topic : CHEESE STICKS

  • Good idea.... Tks

  • Thanks!

  • OMG Ang sarap nito remember ko 5th bday handa ko to LOL Yum YUM

  • ummm cheese sticks lol hint: mozzarella ; )

  • Good idea! If I made these I would add onion and jalapenos to make them tastier :)

  • Américains. Même des sous-titres pour comprendre leur propre langue, dans certains cas tels que btittish anglaise ....

  • @formaset Are you trying to say that Americans need subtitles to understand our own language? How strange.

  • @DJMC5ive EXACTLY THAT!

  • if you want translation of what he is saying, i suggest you befriend or even just ask someone who speak filipino. you want the recipe look at 3:16(3:28) or look at his comment there's a link there and its english. he's not really saying anything special. if you want subtitles look at the directions in his link, thats pretty much what he was saying.the most important to point out was the type of cheese to use. he suggest using filipino brand cheese. a good substitute is kraft velveeta cheese

  • thank you sir..God bless

  • I usually use bread crumbs and mozzerela cheese :3 but your way is cool, and I have the same plate at 0:42 :D

  • it's maybe healthier if it is baked?

  • new fag.... thanks for theachin this :)

  • Thanks for teaching asshole. =)

  • gusto ko kumain nito...

  • come on people. You're complaining about not understanding when it's all SELF-explanatory. Don't blame him....blame your own ignorance.

  • all i heard was... "and there you have it" ...

    thanks anyways

  • YOU have the english topic on your video , and you are speaking in different language ? REDICILOUS !

  • @TheMegaZara lol youre right but learn how to spell ridiculous at least before you ridicule someone =)

  • nice

  • This video is great, just look and doit !! are they blind?

I stayed in the hotel Shangry-la and the food is very good. Ignore the uneducated , I cannot understand tagalog just some spanish words, but i like it, Filipinos are very friendly and attentive. Do not lose time in fools, to put more recipes

  • Easy, at the beginning we are shown Spring roll pastry wrappers, cut cheese to the length required and wrap in a pastry wrapper, Put in hot fat and deep fry till golden brown. Shake off excess oil - I't put then on a kitchen roll sheet then on a plate to cool. I wonder if it would work with almost-cooked thin sausages.

  • I can understand the other people's problems. But in the first place, THIS IS A VIDEO meant for the Filipinos. We use "Taglish" (Tagalog-English combination) daily. And seriously, visit the site before you complain, explore it, and DO NOT MAKE A RAIN IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM! This user's way of cooking is mainly Filipino style. So you guys have no right to complain that "this is not our version". If you can't understand HIRE A TRANSLATOR! BAHALA KAYO SA BUHAY NIYO MGA BUWISIT!!!

  • THESE ARE NO CHEESE STICKS!!!!!!! I AM A CHINESE-AMERICAN. We produce and sell CheeseStickers WHOLESALES. I just wanted to see this video to figure out how others do it... but dudeeeeeeee that's a SPRINGROLL with Cheese. WE Use MOZARELLA cheese.

  • @SuperKurorin this is PANLASANG PINOY page, not PANLASANG CHINESE-AMERICAN page. this is not a springroll whatsoever. this is a common STREET FOOD in the Philippines just to let you know. we call this CHEESE STICK. get your damn facts straight! I know this because I grew up in the Philippines and WE CALL THAT CHEESE STICK IN THE PHILIPPINES! this is how we make cheese sticks! you said you wanted to see how others do it, WELL THIS IS HOW WE DO IT. damn.

  • cheese lumpia o_o

  • you could have said this in a language other than english and i still would have understood the instructions. not hard at all. thank you very much :)

i would have never thought to use the wraps as such. i thought they were only for egg rolls and those like that.

  • haha to all the people who cant understand hust try to copy what his doing because this dish is pretty easy just like making a sandwhich :)

  • mmmmmm so tasty

  • dip it in mixed mayo and ketchup sauce..so yummy!

  • @funkonabarbie same

  • I was laughing most of the time watching this vid, but it looks tasty, will try it soon

  • @77lamiaa Yes, it looks easy in the video but wait until you wrap it. You have to wrap each one, and the lumpia wrapper often breaks easily.

  • LOL@BRAISARELLY. I figure I could only understand about about 27.8%. But at time it was PERFECT English!!

No matter. The Video was perfect and a huge hug to him for giving it to us !!

His recipe is now a "tridition" in my family.

  • @funkonabarbie Don't forget "cheddar cheese"

  • @funkonabarbie thats just from the camera he's using...

  • Hehehe.. Ka-cute. Sayon ra kaayo. The music is traditional Filipino. He also said he's using Filipino Cheese, because of its distinct taste. This channel is intended for Filipino Tutorial Cooking,& if one could understand it, pasok siya(included). like me, I'm Bisaya, so I'm part of the demographics.

  • @funkonabarbie it's in filipino.

  • this dish is for one who want to gain weight

  • hindi po ba malulusaw yung cheese while frying?

  • I've had this at a japanese restaurant.

    it was so good.

good thing i found this recipe.

    Thanks Alot

  • i used kraft cheese block and the same brand of spring roll papers. however during frying, some cheese will leak out. is it due to the way i fold the sticks?

instead of folding diagonally like u, i placed the cheese parallel to the paper, fold the top and bottom and roll all the way.

  • That Filipino cheese is the best <3

  • i only understood like 30% of what your saying lol

  • @BRISARELLY haha, i only understood "spring roll pastry".....
