Really? Do you guys need translation? Simple observation is enough for you to learn how to cook this stuff! Turn of the volume if you don't like hearing the tagalog/English mixture. Trolls!
This is a pretty simple high calorie snack! Nom nom~~~
The wrapping part took a while though... I was like... "Just wrap it already!!!" But I guess you were trying to take is slowly for people who are slow. xD
I find this snack tastier with some powdered cheese sprinkled on it. :) It can't get any cheesier than that. :D
try nyo din po lagyan ng Kamote.. slice din ng pahaba..masarap promiz! kahit pinaghalong "mayo at ketsup" lang ang partner nya..sarap na pangmeryenda!
@jaypark2027 It says "Panlasang Pinoy". Clearly, it's intended to be understood by Filipinos or those who know how to speak Filipino. duh. U can put it on mute, then still understand it anyway, not unless you really require everyone to be like you, plain ignorant.
ahhh I remember that time when my dad cooked me food all the time and my mom busy at work providing money and food and play football with me, meanwhile me dad`s doing the dishes.
@wildshotsintheair lol. he's not greek or something...he's asian... He's not trying to impress anybody... ,it's just the most basic plain cheesesticks
@wildshotsintheair How about taking these ideas as small 'party snacks'... not as sophisticated cooking. By the way he's from the Philippines. hahaha you fell on your own sword.
You basically get a pot, pour some oil in it (didn't specify on what kind, but I don't think it really matters), and the fry them til they're golden brown. After, lay them on a plate covered with a paper towel so that it will absorb the oil.
You'll notice that I cut the cheese stick the long way. You'll only need a small slice. And by the way, I prefer to use the Filipino cheese over any others because of the distinct taste. Fold the two sides, just like we're doing origami. Once it's been folded, you just have to roll it. Then at the end, we'll just need to use a little bit of water so that the end will be sealed. And there you have it, there's our cheese stick. The next part is pretty self-explanatory.
Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy. We are going to make cheese sticks. It's easy to make them, and these are the only ingredients that we need: spring roll pastry wrapper (or lumpia wrapper), cooking oil, and cheddar cheese. Let's start making the cheese sticks. The first thing we need to do is wrap the cheese sticks in the lumpia wrappers. Just get a plate, put the lumpia wrapper and then the cheese stick.
I find it funny that there are people who mock his way of teaching... Even if you don't frickin' understand tagalog, you still have your EYES. The ingredients are pretty self-explanatory, don't you think?
Don't let the language be a barrier. Ask if you don't know what you need to know rather than just flat out complain.
I just don't understand how people need a bouncing ball to go with easy-to-see recipes like this.
Cooking is about interpretation anyway. If you need exact words for a 3-step recipe like this, then don't bother trying to cook. Get someone else to do it.

I stayed in the hotel Shangry-la and the food is very good. Ignore the uneducated , I cannot understand tagalog just some spanish words, but i like it, Filipinos are very friendly and attentive. Do not lose time in fools, to put more recipes
Easy, at the beginning we are shown Spring roll pastry wrappers, cut cheese to the length required and wrap in a pastry wrapper, Put in hot fat and deep fry till golden brown. Shake off excess oil - I't put then on a kitchen roll sheet then on a plate to cool. I wonder if it would work with almost-cooked thin sausages.
I can understand the other people's problems. But in the first place, THIS IS A VIDEO meant for the Filipinos. We use "Taglish" (Tagalog-English combination) daily. And seriously, visit the site before you complain, explore it, and DO NOT MAKE A RAIN IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM! This user's way of cooking is mainly Filipino style. So you guys have no right to complain that "this is not our version". If you can't understand HIRE A TRANSLATOR! BAHALA KAYO SA BUHAY NIYO MGA BUWISIT!!!

Hehehe.. Ka-cute. Sayon ra kaayo. The music is traditional Filipino. He also said he's using Filipino Cheese, because of its distinct taste. This channel is intended for Filipino Tutorial Cooking,& if one could understand it, pasok siya(included). like me, I'm Bisaya, so I'm part of the demographics.
i used kraft cheese block and the same brand of spring roll papers. however during frying, some cheese will leak out. is it due to the way i fold the sticks?
instead of folding diagonally like u, i placed the cheese parallel to the paper, fold the top and bottom and roll all the way.
kuya, nag-try ako nito dati, first time i came in the states, kaso po natunaw un cheese lumabas ng wrapper tapos pati un wrapper lumambot! so, in other words it was a mess (wrecked)... anong cheese po ang pwede kong gamitin na nabibili d2 sa store sa US... may cheddar din naman po cla kaso ang dami po at iba-ibang klase... help po! kc i love our cheese stikcs! salamat po at number one fan nyo po ako!

The Chinese food items are very tasty in general...but I think the majority of them are not healthy.
Personally I like the BBQ ( or roast ? ) goose from the Southern Chinese cuisine, or the dumplings with a little broth from Shanghai.

Hehehe..
