  • lol what was you smoking

  • dont blmae the quad cause you suck

  • at 3:00 you crank for 30 seconds wthout even draining the airbox, wtf?

  • What size executioners you got

  • well you did git a car warsh

  • we all fuck up once in a while lol

  • U have to drain the carb it's full of water

  • you gotta take out the spark plug and start it and the water should shoot out of it

  • man we all know hondas are bad ass but they dont float!! next project ... a big ass snorkel

  • man we all know hondas are bad ass but they dont float!!

  • thats what i was waiting for XD

  • retard

  • @allistairc123 LOL However that was not the case. It is clearly on the compression stroke hence why it wouldn't turn over when the button was hit. It was worth a try however.

  • stupid? no that is not the rite word y did u try to start it? lol

  • @tonytrahan1 be3cause there may have been enough leak-by to let the engine over tdc to open valve and dump water. quad engines are designed for these situations in mind, designers know to make con rod stronger than starter so no damage happens.

  • what language is the cameraman speaking?

  • i love how he turns it over at 1:10 and keeps tapping the starter even though it's hydro-locked.

  • @hyhatchi because if it was close to tdc, there could have been enough leak-by to let it turn, open a valve and dump the water duh.......

  • @allistairc123 dude seriously is it that hard to pull the plug blow the water out cranking it a few times and then checking the oil? you realize the chance of it being right on tdc? its highly unlikely.

  • trying engine start with a cylinder filled with water will cause heavy damage on the motor. Water cant be compressed.

  • @HennerJung the starter motor on quads are designed to be weaker than than the con rod- so there is no damage

  • get a snorkel dumb shit and drain the air box

  • This is what happens when english men try to get dirty. Everything goes terribly wrong.

  • ever thought of an air box snorkel? u dont need an exhaust snorkel... but air box just needs air... if u keep it running lol.. will be fine..

learn to judge the water b4 u go in it.. usually people get a stick or something and why the fuck would u try and start it.. idiot... atleast ur air fliter is clean???

  • running your atv "4wheeler" pull the air box drain and air filter, pull out the spark plug and turn over till no more water coming out the spark plug hole, open up the carb bowl drain up 10sec or so close it back, put the front of the atv up on back rack to drain the muffler, put spark plug back in, check the oil for any water "white creamy oil" if it looks good then crank the atv, and i wouldnt still ride long if any without a oil change. PS also check ur rear differ for water and front if 4wd.

  • im surprised u havnt put a snorkle kit on it

  • one word......snorkel

  • one word.....snorkel

  • talk about toastn ur starter ur sposed to hold it down a sec. than do that repeatedly until it starts not jus hold it down thats what cost ya big money

  • First of all, how is this guy a dump/dumb ass if he got it running again. To all you faggots that said he's a dumb ass or whatever you guys are wrong cause wether he tillted it or not he got it running!!! i would have done the same exact thing he did with my 660 grizzly, and i have done it before, not a thing different, Goodjob man, i like the bil to btw. all the other people would have paid to have it fixed cause there to ignorant to know what to do

  • What kind of oil do you use?

  • i Sunk my formen Almost That deep, me and three guys stood it up and drained it, as well useing the pull start (which works REALLY well for some reason) but as per it being a honda 45 minutes later we were driveing home (for some reason it would run but refused to move for that long)

  • yea that happened to me. I put my rancher in a pond and sucked in some water. After we dragged it out and drained the airbox carb and exaust and put on a new filter and it started and idled but if i gave it gas she wouldnt go. It moved slow if i held the choke on but after a while of idleing it was just like new. Cant stop a Honda!

  • i sunk my foreman almost that beep and me and three guys stood it up and drain the water out of the piston and around 45 minutes later we drove home

  • uuhh i think next time you should try a snorkel

  • el filtro de aire estupido drain the carburator

  • el filtro de aire estupido

  • lol.. its trure the foam filter is still full of water and why try to start it without the filter gets fake air .. u gotta learn mecanic

  • @zamblessme fake air lol ha ha

  • @allistairc123 dumb fuck without a filter it gets fake air

  • @zamblessme how the hell does it get fake air air is fucking air

  • @beanssissy1235z its hard to explain since im norwegian, but the filter clean the air , and the cleaned air gets in to the enginee and if the air dont go thought the filter its fake air

  • nice bike need to invest in a snorkel

  • The Foam filter is still full of water. take it off and it would have started right away.

  • i almost did that luckly my ditch wasn't as deep but i flooded my recon out twice

  • " i think its deep "

  • do the headlights sinc e still work water got in the battery

  • 2:17 - exactally what i was thinking... XD

  • nice rims

  • Yeah, well your first UN-SMART decision was letting it sit there for that long second thing is,dude put a snorkel on that thing. Third, you gotta water wheelie. No disrespect I was pointing out your mistakes.

  • well now you know its clean lol

  • Theres got to be an irish joke there somewhere

  • I can't stand to see kids (and adult kids) doing this to their ATVs. It completely destroys them. Makes absolutely no sense at all.

  • Why did you put checker board on the racks anyway? It looks great, but you lose some utility, yes?

  • well US PEOPLE KNOW BETTER THEN TO DROWN OUR WHEELERS OR WINCH UP A TREE I MEAN COME ON REALLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? GREAT JOB FRENCHY OH MAYBE YOU SHOULD HANG IT FROM A TREE TO AIR DRY ROFL

  • well US PEOPLE KNOW BETTER THEN TO DROWN OUR WHEELERS OR WINCH UP A TREE I MEAN COME ON REALLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? GREAT JOB FRENCHY OH MAYBE YOU SHOULD HANG IT FROM A TREE TO AIR DRY ROFL

  • @sweeneyfred i dont think the winch would have been much addition , the bike was under 4 foot of water , good video by the way

  • @sweeneyfred what is with you people? get lost...blocked

  • @allistairc123 i agree stop caling the people a winch gees you guys get a life and get married to giant male fat ass god.

  • ha ha

  • i have had the same view of my bike, only handle bars out of water. drained all fluids, pulled spark plug blew water out, and key note don't just put oil and filter back in, use diesel instead of oil and flush a few times, then change put oil in and change until oil looks like oil. I used regular motor to flush making sure never to put it in gear because the clutch is oil driven, after that flush a couple time with atv oil and ur good as soon as you u change oil filter. also flush carb

  • Spark-Plug & Battery that's all.Let it drip-dry.

  • get the water out of ur carb breather gas and oil before u tryan crank it

  • that was smart, lol

  • HONDAS :D :D :D (y)

  • after you drain the airbox, and the exhaust, you have to drain the water out of the carb fuel bowl. then it will start. it is the only recessed screw on the side of the carb, and you will see water and then fuel coming out of your carb overflow vent on the bottom of the frame...if your one-way check valve is functioning. it's on the left side of a rancher, and on the right side of a foreman(the screw).

  • you drain the oil? the worst thing about hondas is that the engine is turned side ways and it is near impossible to get all the mud and water out of the block.

  • Flip it backwards let it drain out of exhaust, drain air box, turn it over with sparkplug out(while flipped backwards, drain crab, simple dude..

  • tip# 1 - check the oil after you swamp it and make sure there isn't any water in the motor. if there is, don't even turn it over. makes it a lot easier to get all the water out and you won't have any in the cooler. have your buddy tow you back to camp so you can change the oil.

tip# 2 - never ride alone so someone can tow you back!

tip# 3 - snorkel it and run your vent lines high, put a loop in your crank case breather hose around the air filter and you'll rarely get water in the motor

  • you should get a snorkel, there wud be no probs then

  • My friend did that same thing with his Kawasaki praire 700, we winched it out and after a couple pushes of the start button, started up and blew water for about 5 minutes at half rev

  • Well, if you want to find out how tough a Honda really is, this is a good way to do it lol.

  • Its like a cow takeing a piss! Ha ha, good one Alistair!

  • nice quad your going to need to change the oil at least three time before you try that little number again and next time get a snorcal that will sovel a lot of problems

  • more money then brains......that 4 wheelers days are numbered

  • @freakshow2000 nah, its an ez fix really, drain carb, pull plug, tip on back end. hit starter button, new plug, change oil, start, change oil again, repeat till not milky, then good as new.

  • i used to think so to you'd really be suprised how resiliant they are

  • sit those puppies on the rear end for like 15min- 30 min and it should start, worked for my foreman ..just change the oil once you get it home..

  • shoulda just kept the front end in the air and kept on the gas...

  • your so danm dumb

  • DUMB ASS

  • you should had tilted it up and let the water come out dump ass

  • ha ha , dump ass, least i can spell.

well i aint that dumb, the smart thing do is pull drain out of airbox rather than trying to lift heavy quad to tilt

  • ;( makes me want to cry how is it running now i like the diamond plates one the racks did you buy them or make them?

  • @allistairc123 adamblake is right u always need to tilt them up cuz the water aint always just in the carb and airbox aespecially if there hondas cuz there unstopable

  • @allistairc123 you tilt hondas to get the water out of the tailpipe/exhaust.

  • @allistairc123 its not called dump ass its called dum ass ...

  • @allistairc123 . Yeah man he got you on the spelling, But you need to lift the 4 wheeler up and let all the water drain out of the tail pipe. Its vapored locked. All the water is on top of the piston. It should fire up if you do that, if not change the spark plug.

  • fuck speling on utube

  • @adamblake015 it wouldnt work because of the bend in the pipe it would have drainded what was in the pipe but not the engine

  • @adamblake015 he dont know wut hes doin anyway. "lets take the spark plug out, hit the start button watch water and gas blow all over, and make sure i total out my bike by evenly spreading the water all inside my motor!" :) and maybe latter, we'll feed it "fake air"

  • @adamblake015 what he is doing works fine for getting water out of a engine.what do you think us guys with 600+ pound quads do,try and stand them up?the stand and drain method only works for sport quads or entry level utility quads when ur out on the trail.

  • choke ya got water in carb

  • You were right that did make a good youtube video...love hondas hate midges!

  • Drain the air box, dry the air filter, change the oil, stand it up to drain the water out of the exhaust, take the plug out crank it to gat the water out of the cylender, put the plug back in and shell fire right up

  • @Yamahanotother yeah he did a poor job he drains the cylinder before the air box doesn't change the oil and possible got water in the air-box.... amateur

  • not too much fun dealing with a drowned quad been there more then once.

  • nice boilersuit

  • you dont start it! it will blow it up!

  • u just have to drain the airbox then its fine

  • shes clean in side and out now :P

  • be glad it didn't hydrolock...

  • that noise at first when he tryed to crank it was tectonically hydrolocked.

  • @xKAOTIXx it DID!!!! that's why it wouldn't turn over and he had to remove the spark plug.

  • after you take the water out of the air box you stand it up so all the water that went in the muffler can come out just stand it up and you will see all of it come out and try to start it up will its standing it will help

  • that suck's i know how it is drowned mine more than once.

  • i done the same thing only on a raptor 250 and the water was slurry

  • i guess you flooded it lol

  • but it a honda just hang it up to dry then it will run just fine

  • yeah, she went fine after i got the water oout of the cylinder and air box!

  • lol any other bike and it would be trash

  • build a snorkel for it... they're easy to make

  • aww wow im sorry man that really sucks have u ever thought about a snorkel

  • I done the same thing lad. During the summer on a while bad day when all the fields were flooded our bottom field was covered so i took the quad down and went mad around the place. Then i forgot about the 8 foot hole dont ask me why its their and i drove straight into it.Quad was covered and i was soaked. Eventually it dried up got her out and she was fucked took a day to fix her. I do things like that for no reason.

  • that sucks, i did that and had to get carberator rebuilt hows it running at high speed.

  • snorkel would be a good investment!!!!lol

  • simple cure to get u home, take air filter off and ring it out. take plugs out and run a lighter underem or juct let em dry in ur pocket, tip the quad up and dry fire it a bunch of times, after everything u got is dry put it back on. and dont use resurve! it sucks gas from the bottom of the tank and thats where water will settle, same thing works on sleds

  • thanks for that!, a few good tips there i will remember!

  • lol, any time, and when and if u do get it home make sure u get it looked at by a mechanic, they will prolly just drain all fluid wells(oil, gas, and anything else) and dry em out, then replace fluid...again these tips i give arnt a true fix, just a get u by

  • yeah, i got her home and flushed her out with fresh oil and changed the oil filter, shes as good as new now! lol

  • I need to post this video in our ATVforum he he :-)

  • Nice videos :-) Extremely nice terrain...

  • cheers!

  • Its time for a SNORKEL!! I have the same Rancher 350 4x4 Warn 424 superwinch full underbody skid plate jet kit highlifter springs and lift ...

  • Did ya git the quad going yet?Years ago my bro thought or 110 3wheeler could foat!It did'nt!!!My Dad was'nt impressed!!!Ya need 2 turn the bike up 2 empty the water out of the exhaust.Probably it didnt start in the field cause there was water in the petrol.

  • yeah, she went shortly after the video, think there was water in the carb, when i blew down the tank breather she fired straight up! hard to kill a honda!

  • fuuny thing is most folk dont take the spark plug out and turn it over b4 they tryn start it

or should that hav said tryn turn it over lol

  • well, i know where the limits are now lol

  • pushing the limits a bit, don't you think!
