Hey, it's me, A Simple Mx6 off of the forums. I must say, I envy you for being able to drive that. What other courses have you drove prior to this..?

I don't want to be rude Stuart but sub 10 mins with 200bhp should be a piece of cake. I can't prove it or anything but I timed my friend Dave(92 civic 140bhp) while sat at the start and he was back around 9 mins or just over. he knows the track like the back of his hand all be it vurtually. Brembo four pots will make a big difference to the first half of your lap and of course a clear run which im yet to have too.

I think i would have needed a change of underwear too at brunnchen too,

@Heatofthedragon This was my 2nd lap EVER around there, the car is carrying a 14st driver and 17st passenger. My mx6 is 18 years old, theres no way it has 200bhp. With a clear run and the car slightly better prepared i'm sure I could do 9 minutes vaguely like Daves Civic. Tyres are my main problem, theyre crap.

hell yeah, me and paul did a proper ploppy pants! Definately got to get together chap. My new mx6 ZE is getting a full rebuild at the moment then i'm going megasquirt plus I'm hoping to fit coilovers and Brembo 4 pot calipers in the next couple of weeks. Shout me up on mazdamad and have a look at the pics

yes mate, 1200 mile round trip to enjoy the Ring. It wasnt luck, it was driver skill that kept us out of the armco! lol :-)

Thanks Paula, it was an amazing experience and we cant wait til next year. If you look in the distance just before the spin I had kept up with the Aston and Audi S4 all the way round so next year i'm aiming for sub 10 minutes, Clarkson style!
