I always loved how the chakram/Xena would be able to chose just what it bounced, embeded or sliced through. One time it would embed in rock and another it would bounce off of sofe materials like wood or a leather helmet.

At the end Xena catches the Chakram, puts it back, and unsheathes her sword like it was nothing lol.

@swichboy47 it was a common weapon with the Sikhs, and the mythological deities used it a LOT!!! i was so excited when i first saw the chakra, but it isn't pronounced 'shakram' in Indian culture, it's 'ch' as in chalk; chakra.

The chakra also symbolizes the wheel of life, and several points along the spine; chakra means wheel

It didnt have a blade around it. I guess the edges were sharp. As far ass catching it, if you look closely she mainly cups it ( with one hand) when she catches it.

@Mousegirl913... if you really look you will see that most of the time she really dont catch the Chakram directly. most of the time it is deflected and she pretty much catches it when she cups her hand.
