I can't believe I managed to beat this game on my cousins SNES when I was a kid, I beat the game today on a emulator, hell, I died many times on the stage with a huge gap that you have to come in perfectly to be able to jump over.

Someone with a better memory than I.... I had a game that looked almost exactly like F-Zero for the snes, except you were in a flying ship alone shooting at geometric shapes and other enemies. You could move up and down, and there were these blue areas just like this that regain your health or shield. What on earth was it???

@MK3782 Wait do you mean that you want to play this game. Pretty simple then,just google coolroms f-zero and you should be able to download the file. Its a zip file for emulation so you need znes(coolroms as well) to run it. put the f-zer file in docs and it will load it when you open znes. You can also get the n64 version but you'll need project 64. reply if you can't get it

I remember these days, back when video games became.....video game experiences! Late 80's to the early mid 90's were the best years of video game systems. Not only did everyone have a hand in the pot (Nintendo, Sega, Panasonic, Phillips, SNK, NEC, Atari) and the best part was each system was different that the others. Fast forward to today, where most games come out for all 3 systems and the uniqueness is gone.

The camera shoots the road from an arial point of view, just as most racing games have been in the past (There were other 3D or psuedo-3D games, but full-3D was still somewhat new) - And then, the camera all of the sudden pans on an angle to break the rules of modern videogames - it was 3D =O

@thewhulk Not hardly. Red Stingray and Wild Goose (green one) are the best. You've got the most control on both of them, they're the fastest, and the power doesn't go down nearly as quickly.

This game has some of the most stylish graphics ever. The effects under the tracks are very dynamic and visually pleasing while the vehicles and backdrops have a classic comic book style to them, fitting the universe of the game very well. I wish the later instalments of this game had a similar aesthetic, though I doubt they could have pulled it off as well with 3D polygons.
