Even though this wasn't a take down, he didn't even explain this very well.  When you do the hook on his arm, keep you other hand on his hand! Seems obvious to most people but I'm clearing it up for beginners.

amazing takedown vid. i used this in a match, and the guys arm broke off, which made him fall on the ground and i got dominant position and then pinned him in 2 seconds. best takedown ever!!! (;

That's not the underhook.

The underhook is with your legs crossed, then pivot on left and then on the right foot, keep control of the neck, balance out the opponent, block is left leg (or right if you're left), and strike.

it's really good to mule kick when you got em in that position easy takedown it's the most energy saving takedown i've used

u can't submit people in wrestling thats grappling its a kind of wrestling were they show submitions

well not submit but you can make them give up and they'll let you pin them,How? theres a few moves that can somewhat legally choke them in a sense and yeah they give up basically if you hold the move in long enough

hes showing you a setup for a takedown, once you're to the side, you can take control of the leg and you got em down

im sorry that other people like this move, but i think it is pathetic. My wreslting team is not ever allowed to get into an underhook. you can barrell roll out of it and immediately pin them. My team sometimes even forces them to underhook us, if you underhook one of us, you lose.

I'm sorry you guys aren't allowed to do one of the most effective techniques in the sport. I'm not sure I agree with how they're showing this but since you see kids, olympians, and everyone in between use the underhook I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. Look up the Steve Mocco clinic videos on here for some underhook and 2 on 1 moves.
