the towel plays a huge role. when he slammed the mug down, it left a ring on the towel(you can see the ring on the towel at the end when he removes the mug). this was a perfect way to know juuuust where to put the mug back down so he can lift the mug, take out the burning dollar, and put an $100 bill and place the mug right back on top of the ring...then of course cut out the footage that wasnt necassary
