  • I saw Lee Ritenour, and the bass player Melvin play live along with an amazing drummer it was amazing

  • How can you not like John? Man, I just acquired an Ibanez JSM 100 on the weekend. Ooh-LA-LA...I should be practicing. See ya' later! : )

  • Yeah... I play this track on air alllll the time.

  • John scofield is incredible. Love that jam.

  • nice project

  • Two of my all time favorite guitarists.

  • soulseek helps :)

  • Two of jazz / fusion guitar's most distinctive voices putting together an awesome track for Lee's"guitar-summit"cd, "6-String Theory"

This track and "L.P." which features Lee duetting with Pat Martino are worth the price alone, but the whole cd is fantastic !

  • Non-competitive as Ritenour says seems to concisely capture Sco's temperament. It seems like he doesn't even really relish giving interviews, *perhaps* because verbally describing expressions that one gives rise to when one plays one's instrument is so draining.

  • well done video

  • this is not john scofield, this is robert duvall :) he plays well for an actor

  • @teoanicic Yeah, and Gary Shandling did a good job, too! Loved him in "Iron Man II."

  • @teoanicic It's Scofield, you fool!

But yeh, looks like him, even sounds like him...

  • @Ihy744ppp

aren't you an eye opener :)

  • @teoanicic Ah I see, first time was a joke...

    :-)

  • @Ihy744ppp

    ;-)

  • @teoanicic hahahaha he also looks (and kinda speaks) like a bazzy version (bald and jazzy) of Zakk Wylde in the future.

  • isnt that vinnie coliauta at 1:24?

  • One of my favorites on Six String Theory album!

  • Awesome guys! Love Sco.

  • Awesome album cover by my favorite artist Dario Campanile

    love Scofield!

  • Great Number!!! Smoooth and soulful!!

  • I guess we finally have Lee back in business ....

  • Great video, great message: crossover!

  • wow, Harvey Mason....haven't heard him in ages

  • Love me some scofield! Ritenour has been on my list for some time; this may be the album I pick up from him. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

  • @getupanddosomething

Recommendations? That depends on what you like:

For fusion funk/rock: The Captain's Journey and Rit

For Brazilian: Harlequin and a Taste of Brazil

    For Classsical:Amparo and Two Worlds

    For Straight Ahead: Stolen Moments

  • great video!

  • Sco!

  • Dude, you have the coolest job ever.

  • To be honest, I am not a huge Ritenour fan, because he's sometimes way too "smooth jazz" for me. But this is a great LP.. If you like Fusion!! Its not a swingin Jazz Album like Grant Green, Burrell, etc. But if you like great legato fusion stuff with some great blues- and rockplayer, you will love this LP. Thank you for uploading!
