Simple cheap tactic due to tornados priority and the fact that all you really are accomplishing is time wasting (Which is a cheapshot in timed matches as well IMO) after. when i play my friend, i usually beat him 3-0 without getting damaged much. I told him to try metaknight because he is the easiest character to use, and he almost beat me. metaknight takes no skill, i know this because my friend sucks at this game, he has no skill whatsoever.

Dedede has a plethora of options for countering the whorenadoe. Falling bair, falling inhale, and falling jet hammer will beat it from the side. Dair through the middle will. D-Smash, D-tilt, U-smash, and the beginning of U-tilt will beat it from the ground.
D3's shield can also block the whole of the whorenadoe when angled properly, even when it's only a small bubble.

@airhawk40 fyi being broken doesn't mean they're easy to learn/pick up. For example, Nu from BlazBlue CT is considered one of the most broken characters ever with stupid good zoning. However, just mashing D without knowing what you're doing wouldn't make you auto win. You gotta learn the character and know how to use 'em. Statistics alone show how good metaknight is, considering he tops most tournaments and whatnot. also this vid is a joke if you didn't realize from the tags and the actual video

A attack is TERRIBLE so unless u use it like once every 15 fights or something as mindgames ur going to get punished extremely badly, especially if they're ic because urll b down a stock.

I am a tourney player, and I can safely say that metaknight is the character that I use the best. I can also say that he is one of the characters I have put VERY little time into learning. Im a Diddy/Yoshi main, but I use meta in tourneys when I have to face another meta. Even when I go up against snake with my other characters I can do well but I NEED a meta in order to face a halfway decent meta. I ONLY use him to counter himself because he has the most potential and the easiest learning curve

He is not broken. I have been using him since the day I got SSBB back in March 08. Im good win most rounds. But. Ike and Zelda are two exceptions. I tend to lose to both of them. The fact is this whole game is unbalanced.
And all you were using was match tornado. That cant prove hes broken. Any character can have excessive use of a move and then whack em off.
Meta is easily beaten with a few sidesteps and the right charecter. But you can block most of his attacks since they dont hit through the shield really. And if you walk up to him with his repetative nuetral "A" and shield you can grab him. Or if he spams neutral "B" Just hang around near the edge and block alot.

Nintendo isn't really known for connecting well with the gamers. The game was made to appeal to people who want to play the game for kicks every now and then, so the game's downfall is that hardcore players are disappointed with the unbalanced characters.
Thats called "Stalling" and is banned so it's a no go. They way i see it there are three types of characters: Fast, Strong, And CHEAP the major cheaps are Pit, Meta, Fox (can be both fast and cheap) and Kirby. The only diff. is Meta is an ofenceive character wile other cheaps are defensive. Giveing the fell of a broken character. Try useing energy projectiles/explosives on him the see what I mean. (Try Snake)
Sonic's not cheap, but Fox is? Sonic fits your description of Fox, but Sonic can easily stall by using his homing attack to stay under the stage without falling off. It's even simple to do. I got it after one try. In my eyes, the only cheap characters are Pit and Sonic, which I despise and never play as unless an event forces me. I'm also a MK main, so of course I wouldn't want MK to be banned, but I'm just wondering why Sonic isn't cheap to you.

@airhawk40 fyi being broken doesn't mean they're easy to learn/pick up. For example, Nu from BlazBlue CT is considered one of the most broken characters ever with stupid good zoning. However, just mashing D without knowing what you're doing wouldn't make you auto win. You gotta learn the character and know how to use 'em. Statistics alone show how good metaknight is, considering he tops most tournaments and whatnot. also this vid is a joke if you didn't realize from the tags and the actual video

@blubbersticks ddd's dsmash and utilt beat it, he can just sheild the whole thing and punish w/a grab, etc, he can use ftilt to cancel it, and most likely mk will end up useing side b, where ddd can punish w/almost anything

@blubbersticks yes, but only certain things, they were using it wrong though leaving it open to many oos options, but some1 good like m2k, shadow, etc will probably space and use it well makeing it a lot harder harder to punish, but still punishible if done well, like if u hit them w/ ddd's dsmash when they're appoaching

A attack is TERRIBLE so unless u use it like once every 15 fights or something as mindgames ur going to get punished extremely badly, especially if they're ic because urll b down a stock.

mks wop is extremely good but hard to use, u need to practice it a lot and have good reactions to react to they're movement in order to uses it well
i guess u could consider them a noob if they use side be on the stage instead of recovery move and dont cancel it off the ledge, if they dont space, if they use usmash as spam since its not a good move, same with a , or if they use grounded tornado

im pretty sure fair is only good against certain characters, and u need to space it very very well against sheilds but u dont have to if they cant sheild at the time
for example u shouldnt use it vs ic since they can sheild, dash grab, and if they can use cgs you'll be down a stock

I am a tourney player, and I can safely say that metaknight is the character that I use the best. I can also say that he is one of the characters I have put VERY little time into learning. Im a Diddy/Yoshi main, but I use meta in tourneys when I have to face another meta. Even when I go up against snake with my other characters I can do well but I NEED a meta in order to face a halfway decent meta. I ONLY use him to counter himself because he has the most potential and the easiest learning curve

In my opinion nothing is wrong with any abilities in the game. Mind you i've never played the game. :P anything the game designers DESIGNED isn't cheating, isn't anything. :P remember when SSB came out? item throwing was cheating. SSBM? now spiking is cheap too! (although it was "cheap" in ssb as well :P) Point is, nothing cheap about something that was designed to be there. spam it, I don't care. you can ALWAYS find a way around it. ;) just gotta be good. not like all these whining noobs! haha

He is not broken. I have been using him since the day I got SSBB back in March 08. Im good win most rounds. But. Ike and Zelda are two exceptions. I tend to lose to both of them. The fact is this whole game is unbalanced.
And all you were using was match tornado. That cant prove hes broken. Any character can have excessive use of a move and then whack em off.

Meta is easily beaten with a few sidesteps and the right charecter. But you can block most of his attacks since they dont hit through the shield really. And if you walk up to him with his repetative nuetral "A" and shield you can grab him. Or if he spams neutral "B" Just hang around near the edge and block alot.

No kill move? Down Smash and Shuttle Loop are killers. He may not have made MK too good on purpose, but that doesn't change the fact that he fucked the game up for competitive play. He also likes Ganon, and Ganon got nerfed to shitsville.
Nintendo isn't really known for connecting well with the gamers. The game was made to appeal to people who want to play the game for kicks every now and then, so the game's downfall is that hardcore players are disappointed with the unbalanced characters.

Thats called "Stalling" and is banned so it's a no go. They way i see it there are three types of characters: Fast, Strong, And CHEAP the major cheaps are Pit, Meta, Fox (can be both fast and cheap) and Kirby. The only diff. is Meta is an ofenceive character wile other cheaps are defensive. Giveing the fell of a broken character. Try useing energy projectiles/explosives on him the see what I mean. (Try Snake)

Sonic's not cheap, but Fox is? Sonic fits your description of Fox, but Sonic can easily stall by using his homing attack to stay under the stage without falling off. It's even simple to do. I got it after one try. In my eyes, the only cheap characters are Pit and Sonic, which I despise and never play as unless an event forces me. I'm also a MK main, so of course I wouldn't want MK to be banned, but I'm just wondering why Sonic isn't cheap to you.
