Just read "Let the Great World Spin". took me back to when as a youngster I watched them being built from "across the river". I grew up in NJ.
These were incredibly ugly buildings that had such a great mystique.
Can someone tell my why those low life scums had to kill innocent people! I am outraged seeing how beautiful the towers were and some %T#!% had to fly planes into them. If i could go back in time and warn about 9-11-01 r.i.p, i would give almost anything. R.I.P GOD BLESS

You see those majestic buildings fall and your heart falls with them. They were symbolised freedom, and it keeps rebounding in your head when you watch them. That is sickening to see them die in such a manner. Jason, your description was really heartfelt. It made me look at the world in a new perspective. It is all the same now, nothing is different. fuck, i miss the whole 9-11 thing. it was the MOST entertaining television to come out of america since Dallas. I can't help but laugh when i see the video of those morons falling out the windows of the world trade centre. Priceless!

Really emotive.
Since a long time ago I wanted to watch how the towers were before the tragic attack. Thank you for those images. your words are also really emotive.
I haven't been to NY but someday I'll do my way to this amazing city. There will be no twin towers, but there will be a lot more.
C'mon i think you should try and go back someday.
