Hey- I and hundreds and hundreds of others have been "fighting" this for decades. Basically- it is not a crime to beat the beegeezus out of your intinate partner. If he kills you- and he is caught and it can be proven- well ok. But- otherwise-. We still are the property of men- and the courts and social services etc.- follow the same age old beliefs. Helps to have a man say it though. I think most people have no idea- of course- we have to hide all the time.

what she needs is people like you who already support her! keep the support going and hopefully she will be able to find a way to conquer her fear of this guy!
@goldizzy It's not even the fear of him.. It's what he will do and the hell he will raise in her life. He threatened all her other boyfriends in the past. That is why she moved away.. The violence and the fear of who might get hurt.. Not just her and the kids, but others as well.
@STDoYWC She did in the past. But he didn't follow it. And every time the cops showed up to arrest him at her house, he was already gone and had several friends claim he was with them at the time.
A restraining order is only good if it frightens the individual into thinking something bad will happen. he didn't care.. Ann she can't know or will know where she is living.
@andystruth fuck man, sounds like shes in a catch 22.....i would say has she got any friends she could go stay with, but it would be a major inconvenience seen as though she has children..yeah man im not to sure what she can do : / ,,,,,maybe have someone give him a little seeing too?...nothing serious just a couple of slaps to let him know shes cared about...
