I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the whole Nash and Hogan stunt was done a few years before that with Shawn Michaels and HHH for the European title.....In my opinion this is exactly why the WCW went under. They lost their creative edge and after awhile started using WWF story lines.

WCW did several things to have a competitive edge. Strong mid card matches(luchadores and smaller guys), pacts with other overseas wrestling orginazations, kinda similar to the territories, a true war between different wrestling alliances in the way of an invasion angle, and a guy who ran through everyone that didn't speak.

IN the end nWo became the biggest thing, only to become WCWs down fall with probably 70% was nWo thus not having nWo fight close 2 no1, i wish they would broken up at least into smaller crews or go solo. Then WWE would still have a run for there money.

@OtakuJdm TNA has potential but they seem to just be stockpiling all the old wrestlers. Unless they can expand and get some younger blood, TNA is going to get anywhere near WCW popularity levels.

Sting, Luger, Macho Man were the main ones the original nWo was battling along with the rest of the wCw locker room. The fact that they went ahead and joined them was silly! Saying that everyone joining was the point may be true. But what is sad is that means everyone joining is basically surrendering and living up to the phrase, "If you can't beat em, join em"! In my eyes, it made Sting, Luger and savage look weak. Plus the rap intro didn't fit them!
