soulful playing - complimenti. i'm interested in playing the gaida as if it were a n. european pipe - possibly with a horn or bell at the end of the drone; something to suggest a medieval context. i have a cover for mine as well but not as elegant as yours.
thx FF - bag is from my bulgarian gaida set - actually very good for practising relaxed breathing as bigger bag is harder to maintain constant pressure on small reeds. nice red cover makes it hard to guess that bag is gaida's indeed :)
Var kan man få tag på en svensk säckpipa och vad kostar den ??? Jag har varit på jakt efter en sedan jag var på Gottland

Prøv Leif Eriksson i Sverige. Han bygger også drejelirer og nyckleharpar, og hans priser er forholdsvis rimelige.

I think you are sounding very good. I like the sound of the swedish pipes a lot. I play the Zampogna (italian).

Good sounding swedish bagpipe. The bag looks a little bit oversized though. Still very nice sound and great playing!

Swedish bagpipes (svensk säckpipa) are more like eastern pipes. Chanter has a singel reed and only one bordun.
It is quite a big difference in sound. Much softer and not as loud as the irish or scotish pipes.
The sound on this set is good though (I play myself). Good example of how they sound.
