Iv just got the rings from Ebay, and Iv tried it out with a long winter scarf (with nothing in) and it works great. Im going to raid my craft cupboard for some material.
Thank you for posting this video. It saved the cotton material I just at the store. At first I wanted to make a baby wrap but bought a cotton material rather than the stretchy jersey material. After seeing your video you saved me money and encouraged me to continue making a baby carrier whether it be a sling, wrap or pouch.
I would like to purchase some rings from you if possible. I live in Thailand. Would you be able to send it to me here?
The length of the material should be 2.2 to 2.5 yards long. Yes, material is important. Most efficient and comfortable would be cotton. Silk and jersey material is ok too. Hope you enjoy wearing the sling with your grandson:)
I can make my grandson who is 18 months using rings.
Thanks for the video I enjoyed it really :)
Your baby is precious.
One question..how many yards of material should I get to do this sling as well, Does the material (meaning the way matters) even if the baby weights alot or is it ok to go with just any material?
very nice
