Why dont the airplanes check on the troopers that speed. FHP only runs radar. They dont save lives like other law enforcement officers. Why do they even exist other than to make state of Florida money. Gravy job.

They do check on the troopers, as well as other motorists. No, FHP does not do as much hands on investigation and "police work" as you would say, but they do create a safer atmosphere on our highways, thus SAVING LIVES. Looks like you had a bad run in with them...

I dont have a personl problem with them, I just think they are a waste. Speeders on wide open highways get more attention from them than other crimes that need investigating. They are basically meter maids for Florida.

You do realize that the job of a highway patrol officer is to patrol the highways...they aren't going to go poke their nose into a homicide unless it took place on the highway...the most frequent infraction on the highway is speeding! Its amazing officers risk their lives for dick heads like you.
