Neon Nights is a brilliant dance album. Its very ahead of its time, a good 6 years or so before electro house was properly in the UK and USA charts thanks to artists like David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Tiga. This could be released today, its that ahead of its time. The harder dance/house sound is what Kylie SHOULD of gone on to after her Impossible Princess album rather than doing the tepid camp disco music.

@PopCulture20 I'm not from the USA, I'm from the UK. Dance/House music only went mainstream in the USA in the last 2-3 years thanks to David Guetta hooking up with US hip hop stars when as its been BIG in Europe for years! And this DID do well in the club charts/dance stations, its not for pop fans, Mostly teens buy/download pop music anyway! Daft Punk's Homework was released in 1996, Leftfield Leftism was 1995, Deep Dish Junk Science was 1998, all great dance albums.
