A single Confederate trooper, on foot or horse, fighting in forest or swamp, would be able to dirt-nap at least 6 bluecoats in 6 seconds with well aimed shots each with every loading. If just 100 Reb troopers had done their duty like that, all of the bluecoats would mutiny for the war to end.
