I'm trying to get a $180,000 NROTC Scholarship at the moment, and if that don't work out I'll still be going to KU through the Reserves, doing PLC and OCS. If I get the scholarship my contract'll be cut. And I don't know the standards on the contract limitations, but apparently I'm on a 20 year.
I think the Marines get a lot more publicity and coverage than the US Army,mainly because the Marine Corps is the first to land and the last to leave.
I still don't get the American Philosophy of molding them into an independent Force.

The Marines teach people how to respect themselves, the people around them, and the land that they swear to respect. The Marines wont tolerate marines that go around acting like fools in their uniforms as ive seen some members of the army do but..... The Marines is America's last great fighting force. The Armies special forces is about as good as our regular infantry.

deffinition of terrorism..Terrorism is more commonly understood as an act which is intended to create fear (terror), is perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a materialistic goal or a lone attack), in this case your religion on everyone else, and deliberately targets (or disregards the safety of) non-combatants. no country could invade the US....the reason being is that we are in the perfect spot. Britain, the Aussies, Canada, Russia, and China fit these reasons. You could not counquer these nations due to 1)size and or 2)location and military size.
