The AM radio in your bathroom at about 6:00 is the identical model that my mom bought in 1968, I think from Sears Roebuck or maybe WT Grant & Co. I remember that the sound quality on it was exceptional, with good bass and treble, especially for AM. Was disappointed that she donated it to Goodwill 10 years later, though.
what a treat! Music on am is becoming so hard to find. Here in rochester, ny it is either talk sports or religion. Any other music stations in your area other then what has been on your videos?
I saw your page, and guessed Grand Rapids, MI. There is an oldies station on 1180 in Lansing, WXLA and 1580 WWSJ which is gospfull music. Don't know of anything else on that side of the state.

4:46 that looks similar to my first ever tube radio, except mine had FM and a clock and a wooden cabinet surrounding it.
You wouldnt happen to have a few extra knobs like the one that has would you?

I actually do have an AM/FM wood cabinet version and an AM with clock somewhere...I'm sorry but I don't think I have any spare knobs.

That Pioneer TX-9500 was top of the line back in the day and VERY expensive! I can't belive someone tossed it out.

Who in their right mind would toss a TX-9500 II?

Nice radios. That Hallicrafters is amazing looking, still have not seen one in person yet.

There's only 2 AM music stations I know of in my area. One plays oldies and the other plays modern day R&B and hip hop.
