I am a Bangladeshi, I personally believe that we need more domestic cricket. If we see the past, when Cricket used to play in Dhaka city that time our players had more confident then now. Also we need to break the IPL cricket monopoly. For example; in football, players make money by English leg... and Spanish leg... but in cricket we have only IPL. English county cricket is not that good. So in order to break the monopoly we need Bangladesh club cricket. Which will also build the confidence.

I totally agree with the fact that Tamim is not near the standards of Sanath, Afridi, and Gilly yet ... but his first class records (where he has couple of blistering blitzkrieg 100s) should, sooner or later, transfer to the ODI and Test arena. Besides, if you followed all of his games, he NEVER got out due to a bowler's merit, but his OWN shortcomings (run out, stumping while trying to slog, etc etc) ... I personally think he has the ability to go after every bowler/bowl.

@electrequiem what are you talking about?! Tamim has better technique than Gilchrist and Afridi. Thus there should not be any question about his standard. Give him time and see what happens.

This is to reply Jabran350 and 15006. First of all Tamim has played 15 oneday international matches and Afridi is closing on in 300 matches !!!. Secondly I hope you believe your Zaheer Khan is a quiccker bowler than this right?? ok go check the world cup game and also check the speeds if you think he only hits slow full toss, which also requires lot of power to put it away. I play first class cricket incase you didn't know slow balls are not easy to hit all the time.
