How to be notified of sms&emails on iPhone home screen

Hardly any repo's hold this app any more because it's crap. On anything from IOS 3 upwards it just constantly crashes the springboard! Thank god for mobile substrate safe mode!

It's fine to jailbreak your iPhone or iPod, just do a DFU Restore and all traces are erased.

Hi there Mate, have you found another app that displays your messages/alerts on your home screen without compromising the security? I constantly check my iPhone and with doing so, drain the battery. This app would be money if it didn't sidestep the security code. Thanks for your help!
