well they obviously have a real heavy finish accent and having a singer who would more than likely be from finland would not break through well with American culture considering one of the only two bands to be mainstream American from finland are 69 eyes and H.I.M. which neither have accents at all really so what not a better idea but to make songs and have singers us Americans know and love so for them to make them famous...

Because they're all GUEST singers not permanent members, and I saw them in concert last month. They still sound amazing w/o a singer. When they toured the U.S they brought a singer to sing 2 or 3 songs during the set (I'm Not Jesus, Helden, andI Don't Care)
