You might have better success if you can find actual edible aloe gel. It works better for me because it makes it less crunchy.

I think your hair looks fantastic even if you just got out of bed. The curls are so cute. Damn that aloe vera was expensive! I got a huge bottle for just $1.99 on sale at Walmart in Canada and I want to pick up some more. It might just be easier to order things online, plus you don't have to go out and search.

England is very, very expensive. If you can get to London and buy products it will work out much cheaper - buy in bulk, to last you a while, so you will not have to make regular expensive trips. Stoke Newington/Ridley Road Market has many products for black hair as well as Caribbean/African foods
