Man that runway was way narrow for a passenger jet. I used to do touch and goes for hours at KAVL and it was like 200 ft wide and 8000 ft long. This runway looked to be about 75 ft wide. Anyway, cool stuff Jon. I wish my video wasnt so jerky. Is it just me or are almost all YT videos stop and goes. I'm gonna subscribe and you can take a look at my military stuff if you like.

I see that you are using TrackIR

It cab be hard to adjust speed, altitude and heading with TrackIR in virtual cockpit, that's why i use something called "Multi Crew Experience" (for which a free demo is available). I get the virtual co-pilot to turn dials for me. Great immersion. Besides, that's how the heavies are flown anyway. :-))

can anyone tell me how to actually make the aircraft follow the flight plan because after I fill in the f/p waypoints into the FMC, I activate it but the plane doesn't follow the actual f/p? And how do you turn on the TCAS on ERJ-145?

@Wolland77 I'm not sure how realistic this sim is. (I have never used it) I fly these jets for a living. To get the autopilot to fly the programmed route, you have to hit the FMS button on the glareshield. There is one for each pilot. This will switch your nav needles to a pink color. Once you are in that mode you need to push the "NAV" button on the captains side of the glareshield. Once you turn the autopilot on, it should fly it for you.

Thank you very much for your reply, it actually works the same way as you have explained, after hitting all those buttons it follows the f/p without any problems. I also found out how to switch the TCAS on (TA/RA mode).

I think this sim is very realistic even though I'm not as lucky as you to be a real life pilot so I can't really tell.
