I just purchased this @ Frys for 20 bucks, I also had to purchase a Sata II 15 pin Male to Molex 4pin Female adapter for about 2 bucks. my Power supply doesn't have any Molex LOL. Seems to be working Fine so far. I purchase this because I plan to Overclock my Video Card.

lol "thermal conscious" means they care about heat .. or keeping your case cool, lol.

and the molex should connect to ur PSU .. not ur mobo.

as for the molex.. You can do it both ways.. Connect it to a Molex Connector off your PSU.. or in my case, i have a molex port on my MOBO that supplys power aswell.

its a graphics card fan, you just place this fan next to your graphics card and just gives extra cooling to your card. So yeah it's just a fan.
