@TeenTraceur no I watched it closely... I had received an email from someone associated with Pinnacle that stated a laser pinpointer was used to designate areas to be shot. I have been specializing in body armor for a while and I just thought that I should state what I saw. Last I heard the company was filing for bankruptcy, their armor is nice but heavy and does not fair well against shallow angled shots, just direct on.
Shoot the fuck through his fhemer with a 308 its going to shader into shards its going to kill you shoot someone in the shoulder its going to blow his shoulder into peices
Yea, And now aim for the head or limbs.. And your victem is dead. Arm or leg shot doesnt kill.. But it will drop your enemy so you can shoot through hes head..
@jasperpaws24 ...all ceramic armor "shatters" the bullet (although it's not really shattering unless its a WC core), that's the only advantage of using ceramics. That in mind you still need to absorb the impact of the bullet in some fashion, a normal steel core will mushroom while penetrating so you have to do something with that energy.
@akzo74 interesting and true. I forgot about how hard ceramics are. I disagree with you you about the mushrooming having anything to do with energy though. Mushrooming increases damage by surface area and countries in war do not use them. Either way, they definitely need to armor our troops with dragon skin, instead of it being bounced around in beaurocratic limbo.
That's why we (talibans) should use flamethrowers!

Aren't all those shots coming from the top down? How about seeing some from the bottom up, like a prone shooter shooting at a man standing?

Anyone notice the lack of laser on the rifle but there was a laser on the armor?
burlbark 5 months ago 9
@burlbark It was someone with a pointer designating where he wanted the next shot to be fired at.

@burlbark If you look closely it's on the gun's left side. It's partially hiding behind the barrel.

...It looks like the shot at .48 penetrates, considering the rear spark.
I don't see any after photos or video of the mannequin, either...
charlesaferg 2 years ago
@charlesaferg THe spark clearly comes from the front...
skunkapotamus 1 year ago
@charlesaferg no, its from the front. follow from the point of impact. thats what d. skin does also; it shatters the bullet instead of absorbing it.
