  • wow... is so fast, how do you cut the thread ??

  • that is an amazing machine, I want one

  • Both my parents we`re tailors and had their own business. A blind stitch machine was essential to making pants and skirts hemmed fast. I was taught how to use the machine -- no manual for me. Find a good teacher and he or she will give you the ability to do what's done in the video.

    Good work.

  • wow, amazing the things people invent

  • I have this machine and the instructions are not clearly explaining how to have best results so the fabric do not packer, do I need to hold fabric tight when the fabric is sewn or is OK to let the fabric go frilly? Witch will get better stitch? or it depends on the fabric but I think it must be some rules to follow for beginners

to be able to learn how to use this machine. Please can you give me some more guidance what is the best way to have great experience using this machine.

    Thank you

  • @maraicila Dont know anything about this nifty little machine but have you /can you adjust the tension ? needle size and thread may also be very important when working with different weights of fabric ( just guessing ) Im sure you'll be expert very quickly , it takes a little time to make friends with a new machine

  • FANTASTIC and THANK YOU! BTW, R U Polish? My maiden name is Dobrolski. Some day I'll get to Poland!

  • You need to explain what you're doing and explain what kind of machine you have. Not everyone has a machine like that. Also, use contrasting thread so we can SEE the affect.

  • Everything is in title and description of this video.

This is MAIER 220 - Universal blind stitch machine. Professional industrial machine.

This video show how to sew (hem) trousers leg. The effect is that on the external side of the leg you won't see the seam - it will be invisible. It will be visible only on the internal side. So even if you will use contrasting thread, you won't see the seam - this is the effect.

  • no help at all. you should explain it on the video by speaking.

  • that was awesome.

  • Thanks so much for taking your time to share this info! I feel much more confident now on how to use my blind stitch machine which has set idle since I bought it 3 years ago!!

  • What king of sewing machine is that? And is there more that it can do besides heming?

    Thanks, Cat
