This movie has weird cryptic dialogue like "He came back", and no one stops to say "What the hell does that mean? What are you talking about?" Jason takes a stake through his heart & then shows up later uninjured. Is he a ghost? Is he human? Is he a zombie? Is he immortal? Did he drown, or didn't he? Why does everyone know about him but nothing is done? The ending of "Jason Takes Manhattan" makes more sense. In fact. It makes more sense if this is just another sequel and happens after FvsJ.
In some shots she is dragging the machete as if it were a bag of bowling balls. In other shots she is running and not carrying anything. They are ridiculously intercut. And Mrs. Voorhees apears to be completely unarmed. It make no sense. Plus, I had to run this movie through my Imovie editor just to make it bright enough to see what the hell is going on.

Yes I have. A few of them weren't counslers. Most of them were. The girl that killed Jason's mother wasn't, and neither was the dude who died at the beggining, with the mustache.

they could have turned this part of the movie into something really epic...like showing abit more of the fight / chase sequence...would have hyped up the audience for the rest of the film

I thought this scene was really poor.The scene just after this is where juvenile Jason comes out of the bushes and picks up the machete.Very convenient.Seemed very rushed,cheap and tacky as though no thought had gone into it.

Yeah,just felt it was really rushed as though they couldn't be bothered and wanted to get to grown up Jason straight away.But it's still a pretty good movie.

they did what had to be done though what is this supposed to be special his mom dies there is no need for the scene at all it was cheap because it didn't need any attention they wanted to spend money on the movie not this boring scene.And that is how it happens in the first movie it just was never shown but jason ws alive your really just nit picking a scene.

why does the girl already have the machete? I think they should have filmed it just like in f13 part 1 where she picks the machete up and then rushes to pamela and cuts her head off, but you now, movies in the 20th century must always look cool xP

That's not stupid at all.Most of the time the villains in these movies are meant for us to feel bad for them.Ever seen Stephen King's 'Carrie'?In that she's the innocent main character until the end where she goes insane from all the kids bullying her;( Her story is a lot like Jason's...

because the camp counsulers "killed" her son by drowning him in crystal lake..so she goes and kills all of the camp councelers to seek revenge for her "special boy's" early death..when as ms voorhees was beheaded,jason watched from afar..his mothers ghost told him to continue her "work" and kill all the kids that ever come back to camp crystal lake..if you notice in the movies,ms voorhees ghost talks to jason all the time and tells him to kill
