I love the concert pictures. my biggest regret was missing Roger and Zapp concert at fort valley state university homecoming 1998. Roger and Zapp should be in the rock n roll hall of fame.

i love the sound of the minimoog but I see why Roger switched to the DX-100. The tuning on the minimoog wavered with age. I still want one though. . .

anybody can help with this kind of talkbox sound? i think it's no ordinary "fm sawtooth" or "hard brass" but i dont know, or maybe somethin to do with the tube or the mic? :p

hi.

its a combination of all of this. roger had the right combo, amp, mic settings. plus depending on each song he would either have a more triangle shaped sound. its also the driver he would use :D

What you are referring to about his sound sounding out of tone... that's what the Minimoog would do it would drift off tone.

Look at the year:1986.Roger didn't use the dx100 at that time but the minimoog.
