Awesome! This is my favorite song off the latest album by far. I'm going to see them in Chicago in July and I think I might cry or something if they don't do this song. LOL
Thanks for sharing this and all the other U2 videos you've posted.
the finest moment of the entire night. a song that i hated.. after this performance. the rain just made it more magical. you would need to be there to fully understand what i'm saying
Was at this gig and the first night. I remember on the night before I was upset that this wasnt played but I was loving it here. My favorite song on the album.
I really really hope they release a DVD from this and / or the other Dublin 360 dates. Bono's voice was brilliant, the weather, the crowd - everything just worked and it truly was an amazing night. The Rose Bowl was definitely glammed up but Bono's voice was crap in the second half and it just didn't have the vibe of Croke Park.
Rant over...back to the music! Got tix for Istanbul next year
I hadn't heard this one until I saw them at the Rose Bowl - one of my favorites during the night! Such a wonderful feeling from this song. Thanks for posting, the sound and quality is great!
We were there that night and this song absolutely came to life when performed live. Saw them again in October in Tampa and they had removed this from the set. Read that they were afraid of losing some of the American audience with too much from the new album. Shame really.
i was at the toronto show, the crowd gave this song everything it deserved, one of the best they've ever written. everything about it is excellent, the solo, larry, edge and bono harmonizing, and it is such a great concert song
I was at the concert in Chicago. It was nice that they had the lyrics on the screen, cause they are rather confusing. It's soooooo great to see Larry singing.
Eu estava lá em Dublin! Que show emocionante!!! Até hoje me lembro do Croke Park indo ao delírio com os sucessos da banda. Tomara que venham logo ao Brasil!
Totally agree, this song is amazing, reaches every part of the soul.U2 ARE GENIUS,still coming up with unbelievably gr8 music after all these years, and their gigs are a truly awesome experience!!!
I was in the worst of the crap seats and i can tell ye every song would send shivers down your spine. This was my favourite song of the night because everyone around me, including myself went mad.
Superb footage both visually and sound-wise, well done. Followed U2 since the early 80's and seen them many times. This is by far the best ever..... Truly matured musically, if that's possible..?! Bono is on fire, the absolute best I've ever heard him. I could die a happy man after seeing this show..... These guys have more staying power than most of the greatest rock bands to have graced our stages. Never split up and please please please hurry back. ; )
Its funny because in U2byU2 Bono talks about The Edge as an amazing guitar player (which he is!) and says that he'll run about the stage during the verses and choruses but when it comes to a solo...he just stands there lost in the solo and captivates every1 around him to listen...if you look at the solo in this song he does just that its freakin cool!!! :D :D
Yeah, I agree. I was there myself, and at first I felt the rain was going to ruin the rest of the show, but your right, it DID add to this song, it was so uplifting. Anyway, it stopped raining a few minutes later, so it all worked out in the end thankfully!
Enjoy . You will be filled with joy at this gig. I was in the pit when this was recorded. One of the happiest moments of my life, and the greatest gig I have ever been to. God bless U2.
I was at all 3 Dublin shows. Night 1 i was on the rail inside the pit, night 2 i was on the rail outside on Adams side , and night 3 i was dead center on the rail. this song was the climax of the entire week. The rain, the crowd.. Everything was built up to this moment... Such an amzing night/week!!!
I hope you all get a chance to see this tour.. you will certainly know what i mean..
I first seen them in croke park 27.6.87...and many t imes since, many times,,,, i seen the last Monday night show in croker, and i was stunned, speechless, i was lost in it, lost...a tidal wave of everything sound and emotion, just a feeling i am not familar with...i got a ticket for the Glasgow show too, and i can not wait,, going to try get to Chicago, but the wife might just kill me if i suggest it, but i have to at least suggest it.....
These are my thoughts...... I now firmly believe that every piece of work, every fan they have gathered , and every tour they have done for the last 30 years has all been a build up to this. I have been looking for the right words to say and i think this is the only way i can explain it.... I have been going to their concerts since 1983 and i now feel they are complete..
You are a true fan my friend. I've seen them three times myself, and this particular show is the best I have seen of them, as well as been the best concert I have ever been at. God bless you for been a loyal fan.
Wont happen... They are tryin g to stay away from the depressing songs this tour. This is the first tour in a long time that they are singing for themselves and the crowd instead of for e.g.. 9/11, Bob Hewson, Joey Ramone..etc....
I think it might be another reason why this tour is extra special.
hi, my name is karolina, I realy like your U2 video clips from Dublin, great quality, I'm thinking about buying video camera. Tell me what model of the camera you have :) please.
Brillent show I was there and it was the first time I heard slot of there songs I didn't even kown Bono was part of u2 how bad is that but I am bucked on there music now I like the older songs better though. Great band, great song, great night
Saw U2 last night in Croker. Am I the only one who really doesn't like the new stuff? This felt like a really bad karaoke instead of a concert... what was going on with some of those lyrics?!
I have to disagree there, the chorus of this song was probably my favourite part of the night. Having somewhere near 100,000 people doing the chant was absolutely amazing I thought.
:) ciao ciao!!! Ale from Sardinia, Italy
Thanks guys - these vids are brilliant...I'm going to Wembley, can't wait, soooooo looking forward to it now. Been a fan since the beginning and seen them live loads but still get as excited now as I did all those years ago!!! Keep rocking U2...you do it better than any of the others!
Did anybody that was there see the married couple in there wedding outfits??? Well that was me and my wife we got married then went to this concert what a great day.

Holy Moly, worlds biggest 'guitar hero'/karaoke and joke of a band.
Nothing new, nothing to see here, move along.
Sad I used to love them and spent the worst night of my life sleeping in cold rain to buy tickets back in 85.
