  • My parakeet does that and I had to put one of those twisty things that come with sandwich bags on her cage and on the food dishes

  • This is awesome. Can they also go back in their cage?

  • time to keep a lock on the cage LOL :)

  • Youre gonna have to put locks on those cage doors! XD

  • my cockatiel opened his door so we had to put a paperclip and a rubber band on it!!!!

  • my 2 budgies do that all the time but my canaries and cockatiels havent learnt it from them yet, purity my white budgie has done it while we are out and we could hear her but couldnt find her when we got it, she was blended in with the white stove sitting on the handle so i totally missed her lmao.

  • It's not so much my two cockatiels I have to worry about. It's my budgie Macy. She figured this out and escaped twice before I fixed her doors with clothes pins.

  • Little escape artists! Funny how it looked like the first 'tiel was trying to hold the door open for the other one... 0:06 My own 'tiel has a swinging type door that he knows how to work. He uses his body weight to swing it outward... until I put a clip on it. He watches me to see how I open the clip, but he hasn't figured that out yet, lol.

  • Lol, my parakeet does the same thing after I clean the cage and put food and water, they have been watching me open the cage...and when I'm not home i have to lock it other wise they get stuck under the bed!!

  • hudini

  • I have 6 fancy corls and they Escaped .They just unlock the thingy then they help unlock the other birds cages then they flew away;(

  • I imagined the Mission Impossible theme playing while watching this video.

  • I used to have a cockatiel named Kiki a friend of mine gave her to me. I told her you gave me a smart bird she knows how to open the door and let herself out.

She is now in birdy heaven to this day I still miss her

camera guy: get back in the cage...pesky bird.

cockatiel 2: ...damn man this some bullshit ):

  • ^he looks confused at the end

  • The first one even tried to help its friend, then the second comes out and acts like nothing happend.

  • My Cockateil does this so I know what you are talking about

PS Try clothes pins - they work! Trust me!

  • My cockatiel likes to screw his food bowl.

    Trips my friends out.

  • My cockatiel and Jenday are both working on this. I hope they never figure it out. :)

  • Good job birdies

  • BAHHAHA, smart birds,

Bird:"Coast is clear GO GO GO GO GO!!"

  • 0:07 was it trying to help the other?

    Amazing.

  • I had to pad lock my seed dish doors, so my cockatiels wouldn't escape when I wasn't home. I gave a breeding pair to a friend, & I forgot to tell her about how they escape. In the morning she found them on her ceiling fan.

  • ITS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE FOR COCKATIELS!

  • lol those birds are really smart

  • at 0:22 hes like think you could keep me locked up bitch *dramatic face*

  • 0:22 ''Problem, owner?'' *trollface*

  • if anyone has birds that open there cagedoor please buy them a tiny little pad lock to snap on to there door its for your birds own safety.... remember that is your baby and you want to keep them safe and secure from any potential harm.

  • This is why I just bought a different cage...

  • After seeing this I need to rethink my cage... That's quite funny...

  • lmao, i tought my bird to do that, then i regreted it XD

  • @AGirlWoWLover how did you teach them that? i want to teach my Pepsi to di it xD

  • The first bird was going to let the other one out, then let the door shut in it face.. (Kinda reminds me of my brother. xD)

  • is the birds name cheeky ;D

  • wow my bird did that all the time

  • i had that cage :D

  • thats what my bird douse to get out ha ha halol

  • My bird does the exact same thing, so we have to lock the cage doors shut. I remember one day me and my family got home and found him out of his cage.. Our mind was blown. XD We didn't know how he got out at first until we realized he learned how to open the doors himself..

  • my birds do this all the time to the point that we had to pin the door locked so they wouldn't come out when no one was at home!

  • Check out cockatiel salad days on my channel!!

  • Those are some smart birds.

  • My cockatiel must never see this.

  • @CradleInTheCrater cockatiel prison brake rated r18+ (for cockatiels)

  • "Move move move! Come one I got the door for ya lets get outta here!"

  • Cockatiels are the most amazing, friendly birds.

  • @rvhawkeye I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard when I read your comment. My Cockatiel was as dumb as a brick, she always tried to tear my finger to pieces, she squaked without stopping, even though she had all the food, water, space, toys, and attention she needed, and she would randomly spasm out and fly in circles around the room.

  • "You didn't see anything got that?"

  • are they protecting the house too?:P

  • The grey one is such a troll bird

  • Thelma and Louise Birds!

  • lol my cockatiels do that too.they just opens the door and they get out flying around the house crazy

  • white bird: hey! hey! are you recording this?! are you recording this?! you wanna go?! come at me bro! come at me!!!

  • omg ur cockatiel is soooooooooooo cute... i wish i could hug both of them real tight :P

  • Hahahhaha it just shuts the door on the other one! Classic!!

I bought a cockatiel the other day :) take a look at my video. He is a cutie :)

  • This tells me not to get that simple cage for my bird

  • THE COCKATEIL AT THE END LOOKS CONFUSED

  • the birds are thinking "yeah we got out, lets fly around"

  • that's awesome! :D

  • Badass!!!

  • I love the way the yellow one just chirps and stares in front of the camera.

  • lool u must call this 'the cockatiel prison brake episode'.......

  • lol

  • 1:15 dude is that a cemra?

  • awww =] x

  • I got a Quaker parrot and does the same thing on the video

  • Attention! Les prisonniers s'échapent!

  • The best part is when they escaped.

  • Your tiels are like "F*** this cage!"

  • My sun conure used to do that all the time, I had to put safety pins on the little doors lol

  • Your birds are so smart! my birds can't even stand on a perch without falling off... D=

  • @duckppl They may have a drinking problem I know my Parakeet did. that's why I stopped putting JAKE in his water dish man was he pissed.....!

  • AWESOME!!! I have a parakeet that does something similar - his old cage had 3 doors, 2 for food and water troughs and he would just go up to open, lift it up to jam it and then jump right out

  • WOT?

  • haha thats really funny:)

what if they really get away?i mean if they get somewhere you cant find them?

  • lol my old cockatiel, ron, used to be able to do that. he would sometimes play with the door and let it go up and down but one day when i had the cage outside i saw he was on outside of the cage and on top of the it. i was able to put him in back and put some pegs on the door in case he did it again ^-^

  • i hope my 2 dont see this lol, amazing, thanks for sharing:) music very fitting to the vidoe :) x

  • those clever

    lil shits!

  • prison break hehehe :)

  • This is why I often clip Doug's slider doors shut...because my parakeets learned to open them, and I know cockatiels are bright little birdies, being that a few times watching me open the door, he'll be able to get out.

  • I have the same cage.

  • @ 0:13 it says " Yeah, Frickin' Freedom" then "What ? that's it !!" after that "Hey you stop looking at me with this thing and putt me back in my cage"

  • xD my cockatiel got out the same way but slower lol.

  • xD my cockatiel got out the same way

  • Freaking smart birds! Also that cage does look a little small for a couple of cockatiels

  • The great escape...

  • @Yuna9989 The theme would go well with this vid : )

  • hope my 2 dont do this regards from ireland

  • escape the jail

  • Ahhhhhh that's so cute!!! :}

  • I might have to get a combo lock for my cockatiel's cage, I have one that has a gate lock thingie on it but everytime I come home from work I find my birds trying to get at the cracker box

  • @Potatonaught

    haha.. xD

  • i like the music for this XD

  • lawl....

  • My male 'tiel used to open the ball latch type door on his cage all the time, I ended up having to use a clothes pin to keep the door shut during the way while I was at school.

  • Twist ties are a cheap way to keep them from escaping. Get paper-coated instead of plastic-coated ones because they chew on them.

  • twist ties are a cheap way to keep them from escaping. Get paper-coated instead of plastic-coated ones because they chew on them.

  • Hahaha that's so adorable! My Quacker Parrots can also escape their cages, smart lil devils! :3

    ... Too smart...

    Behold our future masters!

  • One of my birds can do this, and he figured it out himself. My other two birds have not figured it out. It's still fun to watch him do, though. Same with yours. The music with it was so funny. :D
