@escaperoutebritish I always knew. This is actually done mostly by studio magic...echo track used for the 32 or 16 times he sings 'shinin'...but it can be done without any of it. The guitar solo though is all real. This is definitely Guitar Hero worthy...but you need a rhythm guitarist for a full band.

I love the part where it sounds like it's in 3. It's actually still in 4--if you keep counting in four, it'll be 8 measures before it sounds like it's in 4 again, and 8 measures after that, he sings again. Excellent use of meter, there!

Sorry for the late response, didn't get a notice, strangely enough.

As for the song, a friend sent it to me so I don't own the album. I'm pretty sure the song's from Mondo's actual album, from what I was told. Remember, the original Lumines remixes album only has 40 tracks, excluding Mondo's and Eri's. I just decided to include them as bonuses. So in a way, I'm risking myself for everyone to enjoy the wonderful music of the original Lumines.
