What's those white masks for, as seen at 1:40. I see alot of people below deck who wear them in the various videos I've seen... mainly warfare specialists etc. Any specific reason why?

they're called anti-flash and they are worn to reduce burns from a fire and/or explosion

@lordjoey88 those white masks are called Anti flash, they use them to protect the face and hand from fire/ explosions within the ship...the blue uniform is also fire resistant to a degree.....after the falklands the navy updated its firefighting/fire precautions after sailors from HMS Sheffield had the polyester from their uniforms melted to their skin
