thats the mont saint michel, it's located in normandy

it's Mont Saint-Michelle (Saint Michael Mountain)

it's a small castle and a huge abbey built on a cliff that was on the beach, it's in northern france(not in a city, just by itself on a beach and nothing but farmland around)

the big golden thing you see on the roof of the church is a life-size solid gold statue of Saint Michael holding a sword.

I've been there :)

You have to be really quiet when you visit because it's still a monastery, and you see nuns walking around everywhere.

i thought it might have been called the uncomfortable australian.. traveling isnt always about being comfortable but stretching your boundries.. some days and moments are awesome, some are difficult but its all part of traveling.. sometimes i have a bad attitude when i feel unsure of my circumstances and cant understand the language.i thought he was pretty sweet.
