Presidents of Haiti did absolutily nothing to improve the Haitian literacy,infustracture,health care, and agriculture etc. Instead the majority of Haiti's gross national funds were stolen and spent on personal luxuies and ementities by it's leaders over the years. This is one of reasons Haiti is in poverty. Now there hit with this horrible earthquake.
