ma sincer sa fiu mie unu imi plac tornadele,dar intre a vedea o noua tornada cum distruge culturi,case sau mai stiu eu ce,mai bn ma lipsesc si ma uit la vechile videouri.

uploader esti bolnav nu te supara... puteai macar sa scrii acolo "hope a tornado will never hit a populated area ever" pe cand ceea ce ai scris tu denota ca ti-e indiferent unde loveste... dar ce zic eu... ma rog sa nu mai fie niciodata vre-o tornada ca e vorba si de culturile agricole. poate tornada aia a distrus culturile a cine stie cator oameni si nu au mai avut ce pune pe masa. ma asteptam la alta descriere din partea ta. dezamagitor

Din 2003 pana acum sunt peste 60 de tornade de care se stie oficial ca s-au produs, cine stie cate s-au mai produs fara sa le vada nimeni. Fenomenul ia amploare, si nu e de gluma. Nu se apropie de puterea tornadelor americane dar ajung cam la intensitatea F2. Asta inseamna ca pot produce daune materiale, accidental pierderi de vieti omenesti, pot smulge copaci din radacini (am vazut si nu e tocmai linistitor sa vezi urma radacinii urmand o linie curba de 50 de m de la locul unde era plantat)

@R4zvy16n fenomenul in sine nu e urmarit de ANM in deosebi, dar ei au dat acces unor persoane pasionate de aceste fenomene la datele lor si exista cateva grupari de oameni care le urmaresc... Anul acesta de exemplu nu a plouat mai deloc... deci activitate 0...

Excelenta captura, felicitari celui  care a reusit sa filmeze aceasta tornada cu adevarat spectaculoasa, mai ales ca s-a produs si pe teritoriul Romaniei.

Why is there such a "windy" noise to this video...when there is really no wind in the immediate area? I guarantee it is not from the tornado itself...it's too far away.

@naderchaser The windy noise that you hear is because that day was a windy one...:-)...the vid was taken in the SE of Romania, more precisely in Constanta county near the Black Sea..you welcome.

@naderchaser Until 2009 nothing important..this is one of the few videos with real twister's from Romania..and yes the southeast portion is reported to have from time to time this ''anomalies'' like this one..because until recently our country never had this..it has been reported a small twister couple of years ago in Facaieni , also a SE village and this was the first one with some damage..but i believe from now on this ''events'' will be a constant fenomenon here...thank you.

We usually get a few tornadoes reported per year. The Facaeni tornado wasn't a small twister at all. It was F3+ and had a 74 km (45 mi) long damage track. I'd call that a rather major event.

@niiico22 Thank you to both Niiico22 and tommyviva2000 for answering my questions. I have been a serious tornado chaser here in the U.S. for over 20 yrs. And, I am originally from the state of Nebraska...one of the most tornado-prone states in "tornado alley". Each spring I travel from my home in the southwestern state of Arizona to "tornado alley" to chase tornadic storms.  I have always been fascinated with tornadoes around the world. Thanks again!! @naderchaser: indeed, southeastern Romania is more likely to have a tornado than any other part of the country; if you look on the map you'll understand why ;)

however, these are rare phenomenons even in SE, the vast majority in the F0-F1 range, with some exceptions, like the F4 in Facaieni village which killed three people and damaged hundreds of homes
