Simple, trudgy riffs aren't my thing. Hence why I love Animals As Leaders. I also dislike Oceano's vocals, they have an agitating tone and he vocalizes words strangely. Just doesn't please me much. But to each their own!

Currently, I'm in love with Haunted Shores and varying progressive djent bands I find on youtube.

I LOVE Joe Haley), Anata(groovy deathmetal band from europe), Calm Hatchery(especially the song Mirror Giants), Chimp Spanner(one man djent band from the UK), Sleep Terror, Oscura, Quo Vadis, Revocation, Son of Aurelius, A Loathing Requiem(the next best thing to Necrophagist), Sceptic and/or Dying Fetus. A wide range of metal there, but all worth something musically.
