  • It's kind of hard to say that the USA isn't racist when threats of the (insert race here) coming around you still work. Hell, it just about became okay to be racist when Obama became President. I'm not that old but I doubt I've heard as much open hatred as I've heard in the last 3 years.

  • ohhh my god I LIKE YOU MAN

  • Corrolla: "I dont think we live in a racist country."....You could have just stopped at "I dont think" in order to maintain the integrity of your statement, Adam.

  • @jcarbis Yeah true, but I always ask the left apologists this. How racist is it to continue killing brown people for oil? I don't want them dead. Do you?

  • @jcarbis I know plenty of people who disagree with everything Obama does and I wouldn't think for a second they are racist. I don't know where you live, but I feel sorry for you if race is that big of a deal to people in your community.

  • @Higgs829 reallly every obama loveing lame street media outlet called everone that said anything aginest obama were racist thats a fact.We all feel sorry for all you obamanites

  • @TacticsnGameplay In that order?

  • Comment removed

  • Corolla and many like him thought Obama being elected would shut up the activists that make their living on racism, and prove racism doesn't exist, How did that work out? If you disagree with Obama on anything, you're labeled a racist, the race card is at the top of the deck. WAKE UP, many on the left make their living from pounding the drum of racism, and can never allow racism to disappear.

  • @jcarbis ....I guess its easy to 'make a living off of racism', when racism has been so dominant in this country for centuries, right?

  • @jcarbis Bingo....add to it, increased flash mob activity in which whites are beaten and killed by blacks, more "beat whitey" nights.....and Obama just smiles and gives pretty speeches. USA = Zimbabwe and Obama = Mugabe

  • How do you Americans let idiots like this on the air?

  • @StigRossi how do u whatevers not fuck yourself daily

  • @StigRossi Freedom of Speach? You can say whatever you want.

  • @mightee124

U can say w/e u want but u might not want to lest ppl think u a fool!

  • @StigRossi Exactly, and ppl think u a fool!

  • @gmills65

Im not sure what you're saying or implying here so i'm going to leave it to you to clarify...

  • @StigRossi Because he's intelligent and entertaining.

  • @reapfreak

Entertaining yes. Intelligent - HELL no!

  • @StigRossi More men like Carolla should be teaching some of our shit-head youths to stop being self-entitled brats. This man isn't the most educated person, but he's definitely the smartest

  • Its blows my mind that this fucking tool can think like this re: Muslim countries. Actually it would be fine if he said this in 2000. But in 2008??? ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Cos yeah the iraq and even the Afghanistan War worked dumbasss. This guy is so fucking stupid I'm glad he's not part of the Car Show

  • Although I do strongly disagree with what he's saying, let him talk man. Although I love how in one podcast he was like "stupid people make noise", and by saying the shit that he just did, all I'm thinking is "ur stupid, so stfu".

  • "you can be funny without making fun of someone else"....... but you can be even funnier if you do make fun of someone else

  • it is rare that i disagree with Adam. He is so damn right.

  • @orlandsilver1 your freaking trash.....you must be a liberal

  • thus guy is trash!

  • @orlandosilver1 youre trash, you butt fucker.

  • @makavelli757 nuh uh you're trashity trash trash trash you trash bag

  • mass immigration is destroying the west.

  • Racism is a fact of life. We all observe other races as different than ourselves. Its not always hate but it is always concern.

  • WHY ARE WE SUPPORTING ANOTHER COUNTRY WHEN WE ARE BROKE?

  • @BigBriggsFan good question. Someone should get back to you when we figure it out.

    *crickets chirping*

    Nope got nothing....

  • i went to malaysia as a study abroad student .women drive cars there caveman. That Experience changed my views.

i want them to be scared of us < main reason for usa negative image.before reading his wiki profile i knew he is a conservative republican..republican and comedy these two dont go together

Adam carolla comedian ? now yelling and screaming means comedy please some one tell him that he is a serious insult to the profession of george carlin , Bill hicks and Dave chappelle.

  • @kevinbeckinsale

Since when is Malaysia a muslim country?

  • @shatwood hahaha dude you didnt even bothered to google it ok ok ... well it always has been for the people who are not dumb as hell as carolla ..since 15 th century majority of the population is muslim 64%.

Same thing in bosnia ,turkey ,indonesia,Dubai, sharjah etc etc but its sad that people listen to dumb ass morons like carolla who is a xenophobe plus racist.

  • @kevinbeckinsale

If you ACTUALLY listened to him, he is neither a xenophobe or racist. Those are just buzz words ignorant people throw around because they are too much of an intellectual lightweight to understand his point.

  • @shatwood well explain that carolla himself .He admitted his racist rant against filipinos and apologized too.

  • @kevinbeckinsale

He apologized for offending them. That doesn't make him racist.

  • @shatwood he apologized then again makes same remarks on arabs? this is also doesnt make him racist then sir you are biased....He was forced to do so if the filipino society would'nt had condemned his gibberish then he would have showered more of his bigoted views on filipinos.

  • @kevinbeckinsale

Look, pal. You can't call everything "racist" and expect to win an argument. I'm not racist, but the generalizations he has made are true.

  • @shatwood ok you expect me to gulb down his racist rants and then say hey THAT WASNT RACIST you want me to do that ?

then you say "Everything racist" ?this guy just insulted a race and religion how can that be racist right ?.

Win an argument ? actually its you who started this argument and you cannot prove yourself right by accusing me of exploiting the term racist ..This is just hilarious ! you are defending a bigot who himself apologized for his racist rants..Bravo !! my friend

  • @kevinbeckinsale

He apologized because people got offended. That doesn't make his comment's racist. Chillax. If you hate Carolla so much, stay off of these videos.

  • @shatwood i mean are you serious dude ? he said that his comments were racist whats wrong with you man ? lol you are being ridiculous he admitted of being racist and you are like NO NO NO he wasnt ..you are being Naive there is no point in replying to you anymore and you cant insult the race or religion i belong to and then say "HEY DONT CALL ME RACIST OR XENOPHOBIC".

If you hate muslims so much then at least dont defend your hate army comrades with lies .

    CHILLAX

  • @kevinbeckinsale

I like The Money Pit. That is my answer to your question.

  • @shatwood huh ?

  • @kevinbeckinsale it might be racist, but you cant deny that its true. Hiding the truth so you won't offend someone is just stupid.

  • @makavelli757 truth is ?

  • @shatwood Apologizing to them doesn't mean he isn't a racist. It just means his producers told him to. It's called damage control.

  • Good stuff.

  • walls and rockets lol

  • @thebrainfukcler It's actually a mental disorder just like all religious beliefs.

  • Yeah, look at the prison system and tell us again how it isn't a racist country.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard So we are a racist country because blacks and hispanics statistically commit more crimes than other races?

  • @a2birdcage You're racist if you think they commit crimes because they're black, or because they're latino, rather than because the areas they live in a stricken with poverty, have schools worth shit that are being further gutted of funding as we speak. Plus, blacks/latinos are targeted, prosecuted and sentenced far, far more aggressively than whites are.

This is what Adam refuses to accept and what many others refuse to accept. Racism in the US is absolutely endemic. Obama changed nothing.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard I never said because of their race they commit crimes. I was merely stating what the statistics say. The probem is everyone always looks for help to come from the outside. People, for whatever reason, still don't understand that change can only come from within. If an area is stricken with poverty it is up to the residence of that area to turn it around and them alone. It's not up to me or you or the federal government.

  • @a2birdcage Actually "bootstraps" isn't the answer. Republican talking points don't do anything for these people. Much like the "War on Drugs", what you're regurgitating is that same old conservative nonsense that a bunch of rich white people thought up one day and decided it was the solution to a problem they're completely detached from. The issue of massive poverty in various parts of the country is not going to be fixed with patronizing horseshit from people who have never been poor.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard I'm not a republican. I just understand how people work. If you want something, it doesn't matter what it is, then you have to get it yourself. I do agree that some people are born more privelaged than others but that doesn't mean it's an excuse for not trying to dig yourself out of a hole.

  • @a2birdcage You don't understand how people work if you think saying "you need to fix this yourself" is the answer. They are persecuted by the police, by employers. Their local services are abysmal. They can't afford health care, they can't afford higher education, they can't afford to move someplace better. It is unbelievably arrogant and callous to tell them to "dig yourself out" of a hole that arrogant callous people have been busy creating for them for generations.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard Also, I'm tired of the money I work so hard for going to people who don't work at all and don't deserve it. This is America and like it or not America is about the individual not the group. Wealth redistribution is bullshit.

  • @a2birdcage "Fuck you, got mine" is the rallying cry of the selfish, indifferent people that are busy driving the country into the ground. I also do not believe you that you aren't a Republican. There's no way you can vote Democrat when you clearly don't give a shit about people less fortunate than you are. You entirely espouse the ideals of the Republican party in your attitude. Maybe you only vote for libertarians like Ron Paul, but you're Republican in your disregard for the oppressed.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard I voted for Obama dude. I won't be voting for him again though. I never said I didn't give a shit about people less fortunate. Show me where I said that. There are plenty of "less fortunate" people out there that choose to be "less fortunate" because they can rape the system that my tax dollars go into. Change can truly only come from the inside. Once a person, community, culture, etc. decides it's time for a change then and only then can outside assistance help.

  • @a2birdcage That's a whole lot of words to say something as simple as "Fuck You, Got Mine".

And you said you didn't give a shit about them when you said that change only "comes from within" and you didn't want the "system" to "rape" your "tax dollars". Hey guys, I am seriously aware of the plight of people who live in little third world countries with essentially no services and no prospects, but fuck them if they think I'm going to lift a finger to help them!

  • @BigMikeMcBastard I guess you got me all figured out guy. If you know so much why don't you tell us all what the answer is. You seem to be really good at telling others their views are wrong so maybe you could enlighten us all.

  • @a2birdcage You should watch some videos of George Lakoff here on YouTube. Moral Politics, specifically. Whatever the reason you voted for Obama, your attitude is an exact match for the kind of person who votes Republican.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard I like how you stick to the talking points of the left, even use their buzz words... "less fortunate" lmfao Liberals, gotta love them

  • @thebrainfukcler an abomination

  • THE ASTRO VAN!

  • Wow Carrola really screwed the pooch on this one. wasnt very funny.

  • put the pillowcase on your head, bitch!

  • lol "retarded religion"

  • everybody is racist sometimes

  • his mustache evolved

  • this dago makes a point I guess

  • Smallpox has been eliminated as there have been no cases in several decades but the virus does exist frozen in 2 or 3 national laboratories.

  • dude dave chappelle is muslim

  • @thechillincivilian He also has an irrational fear of gay people. Who gives a fuck about his faith?

  • DAMMIT!!!!! 4:48 - SO glad Teresa is off the podcast. She never seems to "get" Adam's jokes, or where he's going with a certain topic. Just me, or do other people see how she's always stepping on the ACE man?

  • I thought the same thing. But Obama's been president for 2 1/2 years and we're still being called racists. Unemployment is 10% gas is over 4.00 a gallon and blame him for any of it you're a racist.

  • For fuck sake blacks are the most racist people in america without question. If john Mccain attended a church like obama's not only would his run for the presidency have been over but the hypocritical left would of screaming for his senate seat.

  • @jays2474 i believe the first part of your post about 50% (i know some who hate blacks themselves so yea i know they hate too) but dont think thats true at all for the part about john mccain, i went into a church in tennessee it was all black. they were the nicest of people, very welcoming and kind and i been voting republican my whole adult life till 04. todays reality though, now i wouldnt waste the gas to vote, no i know they are chosen by the owners of america..

  • @jays2474 would you say that out in public?

  • @jays2474

WHAT?! You have not a clue what your talking about, if you have never been to a majority black church and a majority white church to actually see the difference then you would know the experience is the total opposite. The "Left" doesn't care as much as the right does about religion just as long as your not forcing it down someones throat. What evidence do you have that blacks are most racist or are you pulling that str8 out of your ass??

  • @gdogg2000 you are a retard

  • @catfishvs

Based on?? Oh nevermind you right wingers never actually attack the argument. Just attack the person presenting it. We all know it would be too difficult for you to actually think about anything

  • @jays2474 Why do devils always try to make everyone else seem as evil as them? Racism is an affliction of whites, not blacks.

  • @mymarkis666 double standard is an affliction of blacks

  • @sz42781 Unfortunately that's actually an affliction of whites; but yet again they try to make it seem like a different race has that weakness.

  • @mymarkis666 Unfortunately its a subjective argument so you lose it

  • @jays2474 that's all true

  • @jays2474

You don't have a clue what racism truly is.. If Mccain attended a church like Obama's the left wouldn't give a damn! You can bet the bank on that! Too much time is spent on these ridiculous issues and ignoring the major problems that actually causes EVERYONE to suffer. Ironically your statement was in itself racist but you of course would never now that. People who have experience racism are far less likely to reciprocate because they know first hand what its like

  • I love how people complain about whoever is President, are we that fucking retarded that we believe one person is going make things better in our country? Especially when our country is filled with some of the dumbest motherfuckers to ever grace the earth

  • I'm sure Carolla wishes he didn't support Barack now, what with the mess Barack and his pet Congress (til this last January, anyway) have done to the country.

    Oops?

  • @thebrainfukcler It really isn't much of a choice if you're born into Islam, in the Middle East. That's how religion usually works, in families.

  • I used to like this Jew until I heard this...

  • @dreadayatallah good, go sit on your dirt floor. you should be thankful for jews considering there strong in the math and sciences leading to the invention of the computer which lets you get on the internet to spew your crappy hateful religious propaganda. i wonder how many muslims had a hand in the invention of the computer/internet? I bet it's near zero. Go beat your wife to make yourself feel better you hummus eating dick head. ACE is not jewish btw.

  • @jrwkc hmmm. how about you do something to me yourself besides say stuff that really has no weight? I am sure it would never come down to that. And for the record, those claiming to be Jews or children of Israel are posers. The real jews and real children of Israel are Africans. Not big nosed Europeans! Hummus is tasty, though. But, I prefer bagels. It must be the jew blood in me?

  • @dreadayatallah He's Italian.

  • @JeffTheDude777

    thanks. I stand corrected

  • He isn't Jewish Tard boy

  • @fenster65

ok. i was wrong... he's italian, roman.

  • Turn back the clock to the early 50's, Enforcement of the constitution, laws, borders, etc. Until then America will keep sliding into the weak sloppy liberal identity it is. I hope there is an invasion attempt 'china anyone' All these gangbangers, leaches, liberals America haters, will run like hell to elsewhere, this will clean things up! Yes its that bad, I favor a major conflict\invasion attempt over this country's current direction! China may try it so watch out! pack ur bags now losers!

  • What's with the groucho marx moustache

  • Funny how Obama and his supporters have turned the whole race thing around as an excuse to dismiss any criticism as latent racism. Any debate about Obama's performance is negated with that bullshit.

  • @thebrainfukcler if it only was a choice, for those who live under the islamic regime it tends to not be so

  • what a closeminded idiot

  • what a fucking asshole.

  • He is so damn smart

  • Carolla ftw

  • Who is this women? She is an idiot.

  • Lmao what a dumb blowhard

  • does he do any more stuff? podcasts?

  • lol, Obama is about as "black" as The Brady family. He's a shill for the banks, just like all of the presidents since Kennedy.

  • I never hear anyone, except the random clown, say "America is a racist country"; I often hear, as Adam noted, people say "America has a racist element."

Not being racist is a brand new phenomenon that is almost exclusive to western cultures. Until about the 1940s, being racist was seen as a virtue.

And the girl in this video says "If we stop supporting Israel, they (Muslims) will hate us less." Here's how much less the Muslim world would hate us if we stopped supporting Israel: 100%.

  • @rrattlehead84 a quick google search yielded this result on a list of prominent muslim scholars condemning terrorism across the globe w w w .unc.edu/~kurzman/terror.htm please do your own research and not blindly take the opinion of others who don't know the reality

  • @lostryder

The fact that you have to do internet research is a perfect example of how anemic the backlash is against terrorism. If Islam is a religion of peace (which it is not) than Muslims of the world would unite in one resounding statement and action disowning the acts of horrifying violence. It wouldn't require research, it would be a powerful movement. But alas, they haven't done such. Islam is being exposed for what it is and Europe is FINALLY waking up to the problem they face.

  • @rrattlehead84 no research is required. my point is that you didn't even bother investigating the truth. I'm certain you haven't read the Koran. People will believe what they want to believe in the end. Peace be upon you

  • @lostryder

"no research is required. my point is that you didn't even bother investigating the truth."

Wait, so no research is required, but you are cajoling me because you think I haven't "investigated the truth"? I have researched. I'm not ignorant. I know what Islam preaches and it isn't a benign message.

And guess what? Actions speak louder than words. The actions of Islamic terrorism and the inaction of supposedly "peaceful" Muslims speak volumes of the nature of the religion.

  • @rrattlehead84 Hey, I am from Iran, a very Muslim country. What do you want Muslims to do? DO you know that in countries like Iran showing the American flag or speaking positively of the American government is seen as a putting down the government and is oftren condemned by closing of newspapers or censorship.

The problem is that you associate your western freedom, and your actions in a relatively free western enviornment, and associate it with authoritarian government.

  • I think his last statement sums it all up. When it really comes down to it, Muslims are scared shitless of anyone or any idea outside the realms of their angry, violent, outdated, intellectually incestuous culture.

  • not to argue w/ adam but he slips in "theres smallpox and TB" Smallpox was eradicated atleast acouple of decades ago. I read the Soviet Union and the United States had kept some small quantities in case they needed them for research (Cough weapons Cough)

  • @thebrainfukcler PRECISELY!

  • Adam carolla is gone insane...

  • I've lost all respect for Adam Carolla. His profound ignorance on geopolitical influence of Muslim cultures shows here. That's like criticizing Christianity for its Dark Ages; there is always a context to understand the "backwardness" of a society. Islam was once responsible for the upliftment of the world and for that reason, the Christian world experienced a dark age, now it can be said of the Muslim world. Just because part of the world is chaotic doesn't make those religions stupid - think!

  • @lostryder

Oh, so when it comes to Muslims we should all stop criticizing evil behavior and look the other way? Yeah just like parenting: "Oh little Bobby is doing hardcore drugs. It's probably just a phase, maybe if we don't acknowledge him, he'll just stop". Stupid.

  • @rrattlehead84 yes whether muslim or not, evil behavior should never be ignored but what scares me is how 'evil' is defined. Yes, killing innocent people is evil. Terrorism is evil. Denying people justice and women their rights is all evil. But how much of that is played up in the media when its from a muslim country and how much is downplayed over here in the States? Our govt sadly does many of the same things but that doesn't lead me to say that Christians or Christianity are stupid/retarded

  • @lostryder

I'm not going to engage in a debate about media and journalistic integrity.

I remember on 9/11 when Muslims across the world celebrated and danced in the streets. Any group of people that will celebrate the murder of thousands of innocents are a degenerate culture and people. And "non-terrorist" Muslims are complicit in the crimes of their violent terrorist brothers in Allah, because they do not rise against them. Islam is an institution of bigotry, violence, and misogyny.

  • @rrattlehead84 actually I remember that same clip, they pulled it off the air and apologized because it wasn't a 9/11 celebration but it was something else. - talk about journalistic integrity...[sarcasm] I'm just curious though, do you know any muslims personally? Have you gone and talked to them or visited their communities or mosques? Since 9/11 and even before, muslims have been constantly denouncing terrorism and their govts are fighting it practically and their soldiers are being killed

  • @lostryder

BS! It wasn't just "one" clip, and it wasn't just one evening, it was days of celebration across the middle-east for the massive blow to the "Great Satan". Don't be naive. There was massive celebration. In fact, there are still anniversary celebrations.

And I don't have a problem with middle-eastern people. I have a problem with Muslims. They have created an institution that subjugates women, sexually represses their men and not to mention their insane and arbitrary fatwas.

  • @lostryder

"Constantly denouncing terrorism"? Really? Where? When? Who? More BS.

I have a good friend who was born in the refugee camps of Afghanistan in the early 80's. He'll be the first to tell you that Islam is bad news. He is now has a doctorate in bio-chemical engineering and is a professional gambler... I'm pretty sure he'd be executed in his native Afghanistan for the latter life choice.

  • @rrattlehead84 terrorism is mostly a 20th-century phenomenon and is partially sparked by power inbalance in the Muslim world. As we're seeing in the Middle East these days, Arab countries were subject to despot rule for many years and this repression has forced some extremists to commit acts of terror but that is not supported by the majority of muslims and especially not the Koran nor the teachings of the prophet

  • @lostryder

What the fuck are you talking about?

Power imbalance? A power imbalance inspires people to establish terrorist training camps and attend flight school, hijack planes and kill thousands of innocent strangers?

Despot rule hasn't caused N. Koreans to commit egregious acts of violence across the globe. And they've been under despot rule for over 50 years. The common thread among terrorists is fucking ISLAM.

The deafening silence from the "non-violent" Muslims is their complicity.

  • @rrattlehead84 you don't sound like you know any muslims (or at least not know them very well) most of your sources seem to be sketchy; the media or some guy who was a friend of a friend who fill-in-the-blank. I can give you actual names of scholars & institutions who have been denouncing terrorism for YEARS. Mainstream ones at that, Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir, Suhaib Webb, Yusuf Islam, Zakir Naik, Khalid Latif, etc ISNA/ICNA. Al-Azhar University (oldest institution of Islamic learning) etc

  • @rrattlehead84 does a falling tree still make a sound in the forest if nobody's there to hear it fall? That my friend is your example, muslims have been condemning terrorism for years, just because you don't follow up on the news doesn't mean its not happening. Are you even aware of how much terrorism is killing other muslims in their own countries? If anything they are against it more than we are here in the West, but that perspective is conveniently neglected in most western news outlets

  • @rrattlehead84 Christianity is just as fucking bad.

  • @KanapkaDrobakha

Show me in recent years where Christians are actively murdering people. (And I'm not a Christian, so I'm not morally, emotionally, or spiritually tied up in the defense of Christians.)

  • @rrattlehead84 continue to discriminate against gays. many want war with Afghanistan because they are Muslim....

  • @KanapkaDrobakha but its easy to attack christianity then it is islam, that is what allot of cowards do..

  • @rrattlehead84 Just because extremist Muslims decide to take immoral actions against the west, it doesn't mean the others are obliged to take a stand. Some do, in fact, but this seems to be overlooked by most when trying to persuade someone. While I'm not going to deny that the celebrations of the Muslim terrorists during the 9/11 anniversary were wrong, I'm also not going to lay the blame upon innocents who happen to share the same race as those who commit the crimes.

  • @xBlackkatt

Actually, they do need to take a stand. Silence is complicity in this case. If a "small" group of people in your community are giving the entire community a bad name, action should be taken.

  • @rrattlehead84 Absolute bollocks. The approximately 100-200 muslims who died in 9/11 were not likely to be dancing in the streets as they had a million tonnes of concrete dropping on their heads.

You claim to be an American, who believes in Individualism... yet blame the actions of a few morons and assign it to a billion people. Some muslims dances in the streets, but most cried about the loss of life they just witnessed in front of them.

    Shame on you.

  • @markgg1

100-200? Bullshit. There are sound head counts that place the number of Muslims killed in 9/11 well below 100 (which would make sense considering they constitute less than 1% of the US population). 19 were the hijackers. And yeah I'd assume the Muslims killed in the attacks weren't dancing. They were dead.

Islam is a collective society with some of the most disgusting edicts within its "holy" scriptures. I do believe in individualism. They don't.

    Nice self righteousness.

  • @rrattlehead84 Well Im from the UK, and perhaps I know the 'wrong' muslims. but every single one I know finds 9/11 despicable. A consensus I see is that whilst they accept the USA has a terrible record on the world stage (prob why its the most distrusted nation on Earth in polls) but 9/11 was too far. The Koran specifically says you should not kill civilians, and also talks of the importance of Justice.

Ive read the entire book and found no passage where it condones 9/11. Maybe I missed it?

  • @markgg1 you missed it in the koran huh.unreal, what about during times of war to lie to the enemy at all costs to victory! Open your eyes dude, This PC garbage is the problem. I'd rather fight for my land, borders and culture than pander to the enemy and give it to them on false trust!

  • @rrattlehead84 Dont get me wrong Im skeptical of religion, but I recognise that Islam and Christianity are both equal in their barbaric nonsense, but have the odd moment of greatness. Christianity has had a terrible history in Europe, and is one reason why your nation was created. Islam used to be pro-science and maths, but currently are having a dark age of their own. It can be turned around, and I think we are seeing it with the 'Arab Spring' going on. Politics is bigger then religion

  • @markgg1

The Christianity argument is a tired one. Two wrongs don't make a right, and we should not sit on our hands and wait for Islam to "grow out of it". It can be turned around, I agree, but only when Islam is shown for what it is, an outdated tyrannical system of rule, not a religion of peace.

  • @rrattlehead84 Ive had this debate many times. I agree these monotheistic religion are outdated, backwards and not productive, but you think telling people this and being rude about is going to help the world?

I think the best solution is this: We support the Middle East in whatever way possible to get Democracy. We try to forget our views on Islam, and just help promote rule of law, human rights etc. You will find that people naturally want this.

Disrespecting Islam will just anger people.

  • @rrattlehead84 I used to be very critical of Islam, and got into some heated debates but realised 'who is this helping'?

Democracy and Islam are compatible, as most Muslims in the UK function with their religion, and our laws perfectly fine. British Muslims are a brilliant example. Sure a couple of them went off the rails (7/7), but thats 4 men out of 3 million people.

The west can win the battle of ideas, cause people naturally want freedom and human rights universally.

  • @markgg1

You have to be kidding me. The UK has an unbelievable radical population of Muslims that abhor the West and everything it stands for. With their staged "funeral" for Bin Laden in London still fresh in the news, there should be no doubt that there is a Muslim problem in the UK. Their refusal to assimilate and the "multi-cultural" beliefs among Britons will be the death of freedom and traditional English culture. You guys have ceded your culture and have received nothing. It's sad.

  • @markgg1

And please don't betray common sense by minimizing the Muslim problem in the UK. "a couple of them went off the rails"? Please. Just look at the demonstrations in London, and read their signs out loud. Freedom of speech has been compromised in the UK because of fanatical political correctness, affecting whites, but the Muslims can march about with signs advocating death and destruction with impunity. Wake up.

  • @rrattlehead84 THose people should have been arrested for inciting hatred, and I dont know why they were not. I understand the government dont want to inflame the situation, but the law applies to them all. So on this, I agree with you.

But this is a small minority of nutters. The media always focus on the crazies, cause they are entertaining.

  • @rrattlehead84 Islam is not the problem, rather it is the governments who abuse the centuries old words of the religion as an excuse for their actions. You are not wrong, but you believe that the authoritarian government actually allow muslims to speak out.

I say this with confidence that you or anyone can not understan Islam until you live in an authoritrain government ruled by religious bigots.

  • @rrattlehead84 "Islam is an institution of bigotry, violence, and misogyny" Welcome to religion.

  • @rrattlehead84 Thats what you have been told, not always the truth.

  • @rrattlehead84 I seem to recall us celebrating while bombings were going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, do you know how many innocents died in that? are we also a degenerate culture and people?

  • @dEEdUURdUUR

that was a legitimate war, unlike 9/11

  • @Gubuforyuyu it wasnt a war, it was an invasion. a war requires a declaration of war, which never happened. iraq/afghanistan had nothing to do with 9/11. they were from saudi arabia.

  • @skupernation more than half the 9/11 hijackers trained in camps in a Taliban controlled Afghanistan, so yes 9/11 had everything to do with Afghanistan. Invasion of another country is an act of war, officially declaring war is poor strategy and doesnt really serve a real purpose. Our reason for starting Iraq turned out to have been false but who cares? Sadam gassed around 15 thousand kurds and the whole world was willing to let that go. He's dead now, good riddence.

  • @Gubuforyuyu What the fuck just came out of your mouth? it's the same fucking war

  • @dEEdUURdUUR No, Iraq and Afghanistan were two different wars bud. our reasons for going into them were the same but Iraq and Afghanistan were two different wars completely.

  • This is why Jimmy got a talk show and carolla didn't.

  • @CWA12 It's because Carolla is a free thinker. You cannot be a free thinker, and be in the mainstream spotlight.

  • Carolla is a complete idiot!

  • @CWA12 For what? Having an actual opinion?

  • LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE ACEMAN!! I really hope we can all get real, real quick! Fuck people who hate America!

  • @thebrainfukcler No, it's not - there is Semitism, which is a race, but Judaism and Jews are NOT a race. It is a religion. The vast majority of Israelis today are NOT semitic in origin, they are descendants of mostly Polish and other eastern European Jewish immigrants (Khazars, Ashkenazim). Palestinians, on the other hand, are native to the land and Semitic.

  • Chomsky for ya, ass-ole.
