The band I was in use to practice next door, in "the caves", and then downtown in KC with these guys back in 93-94 ... Played a few gigs with them too ... Great bunch of guys ..

Interesting fact about them, one of the guitarists(Shayne) plays with only 1 arm ..

Songs like "For the greater good of God" and "Lord of Light" where they say to give your life to the Lord of light. One thing I don't like about Christians is their massive judgementalism. As another person said, the number of the beast is about a dream Steve Harris ha. Funny thing is on the same album is a song called hallowed be thy name.

Possesion is great, and the lyrics aren't the usual worship music stuff. They directly deal with a war on satan- some songs I think are from the POV of demons.

Wrong. It happens to be a symbol for Saint Peter. He was crucified upside down because he refused to be made to look like Jesus. The pope has an upside down cross at the back of his throne.

In many cases yes, but the inverted cross is also to honor Peter. He was the very first pope and was appointed by Jesus himself. and like Jesus he was crucified by the romans by being nailed to a cross, but peter requested to be crucified upside down because he felt he was unworthly to die exactly like Jesus.
