  • You were a hansome boy

  • still see its a dude...no offense but i can see it in the eyes.

  • Hottest guy I've ever seen.

  • She is very beautiful. We shouldnt judge others because of their differences. If we do that then we are judging something about ourselves.. i will live my life with LOVE not hate :)

  • you can hear it in his voice.

  • She is so lucky in the fact that she found herself and already had features that transformed into such a beautiful individual. Other more manly or feminine people who look very much their birth given sex, it's not as easy for. I hope medicine advances to help transgenders find their true selves as easily as possible. All power to her!

  • I'm a FTM transgender, and i love seeing success stories like this. <3

  • wolfmother, i'm in love.

  • He still looks very male. Can't get away from what you were born with.

  • Wolfmother shirt nice.

  • Is she now attracted to men or women?

  • @Dccopus

    I'm guessing men.

  • @Dccopus I'm into both (and neither, in the case of non-binary people!) :)

  • i'll take ur male body and u can take my female one :>

  • British people are very outgoing and I find that amazing

  • British people are very outgoing and I find that amazing love from amercia to england love you brits

  • @wristslitter229 Thanks! Americans are awesome too!

  • I LOVE YOU! you are sooo cute, Are you still here?

  • they did a good job with the surgery. you can't tell unless she told you straight up

  • @xhalofan18x How do you know? I didn't have surgery on my face, torso etc ;)

  • cool eyes

  • she is very beautiful and confident

  • Wow. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this, you are inspirational! I'm so pleased that you got the surgery (and quite obviously a good surgeon!). I would love to speak with you, although I see this is years old. I am a man in a female body, and if it weren't for oh so many complications, I would like nothing more than to do a female to male transition. Ignore the haters Ruth, you are a beautiful woman, and it is so good to see. I hope you are still happy now nearly 3 years on x

  • of course he can't get pregnant, i mean you can change the genitals God gave you but you can't change the creation itself. this situation is kinda sad

  • @ThePoeticsoulja I don't think it's sad that she can't get pregnant. Just because you can't get pregnant doesn't mean you are any less of a woman. A lot of people choose not to have children.

  • @ThePoeticsoulja You keep being sad, I'll keep being happy :)

  • @ThePoeticsoulja I think you mean she :)

  • beautiful!

  • I mean this in no offensive way, but we will always be the gender we are born with. Anyone cand ress up in girl's clothes. There is nothing wrong with that either. Our society stereotypes way too much. You can be whatever you want. Yet we will always have our sexual organs. With this understood if you want to be transgendered it's ok with me. Ruth is very pretty may I add. C:

  • WOLFMOTHER!

  • I respect everything she has been through. I respect her situation. She does make a convincing girl in the looks department, however, I also understand the people here saying "he looks like a guy." She has a very strong, masculine jawline.

  • @ThePipenhot Not as masculine as Wynonna Judd! She was born a genetic female.

  • he rocks.

  • soooooooooooooooo, is "she" going to marry a boy or a girl or what...

  • @squigy97 who cares? and no need for the quotes, hun.

  • Wow. Its almost like she was never a guy. Shes pretty ^_^

  • She's amazing <3 so positive. Made my day.

  • The strange part is that in the future I expect it will be really easy for people to completely transform gender between male and female at will. I don't think people will even think of it as strange. Similar to the 'culture' of Ian Banks novels.

  • Why would you want to change yourself so much? I don't have an issue with any sexuality but I do have a problem with someone who is ashamed of their own bodies. He thinks with a vagina his life will be better? phaa

  • @budgen95 ... damn you have a backwards way of thinking

  • @budgen95 It's like being forced into the wrong place if you can't change it. She didn't feel right in a guys body so wanted to change herself to who she really is. What if you were stuck a certain way and you didn't like it? Of course you'd want to change it. And sometimes, it really is for the better. I don't think she was ashamed of who she was, things just weren't in the right place. Things not feeling right is different than someone who's doing for the aesthetic part of it.

  • @budgen95 My body is awesome and I'm very happy :p

  • @budgen95 would you be comfortable if you had the opposite genitals than you do now?

  • beautiful

  • Beautiful person....x

  • Feel free to check out my "little transgender story" that I just upploaded! :)

  • would be better if u got rid of that moustache.

  • she still looks like a dude

  • You go girl

  • She actually looks like a girl. o3o

That's awesome, in my book. :D

  • she rocks.

  • @halliejill

You mean HE rocks. "Ruth" has the Y chromosome and always will. A doctor can cut and "reassign" all he wants, but let's see Ruth get X chromosomes and the ability to bear a child.

  • actually, she can get pregnant. look it up. it takes a lot of hormone injections, but it's possible.

  • @meagannnaliseee r you stupid?

  • @meagannnaliseee no she cant u dumbass

  • @meagannnaliseee no, I can't get pregnant because I don't have a womb

  • @dynelol Aw, you're so jealous...

  • @dynelol Try spending one day feeling as though you are born in the wrong body, Its horrible and I cant convey enough how much trouble ignorant dimwits like yourself cause for us transgendered in the world. Go get an education, grow up and keep your nasty derogative comments to yourself!

  • @dynelol x chromosomes and the ability to bear children? why is it that those two things are only what makes you a woman? isn't it mind over matter? also, by that logic, infertile women would not really be women either.

  • Dude looks like a lady

  • So.. basically this is a guy with long hair and a girly voice?

  • @znile1 LOL!

  • i think you're hot. idc if you were male, you are who you are and people should respect that.

  • So.... is she straight, or gay, or what?

  • Well said Ruth, unlike you finding your true self in your youth, I had to wait over 30 years to see myself out.

  • It's his body, his business.

That said, I don't think he should get free drinks or other services for "ladies only" offers at whatever establishment.

  • she's the man.. i think?

  • I don't see how plastic surgery (feeling unattractive) is any different than a sex change (feeling like the opposite sex.) I think they are equally disappointing. I don't believe in religion or a God who created us individually but I do think that this is a self confidence problem. Maybe someone can explain it without getting all insane?

  • @LuneyTune72 Yeah I think you're pretty much right on that one. I don't see why a person with a female brain structure and male body or vice versa has to "fix" anything surgically. I beleive that we're all beautiful just the way we are and that surgery in this case isn't really necissary. However there may be a handful of people that feel they absolutely must or they won't be able to live, but come on. In order for people to accept us we must first accept ourselves, every last molecule. :3

  • @TheSnowyice I'm male, both by birth and in identity. If I had to live in a woman's body, it'd be interesting enough at first but pretty soon I can tell it'd feel really weird and wrong and like I was out of place. Try to imagine yourself in that position and I think you'll understand why Ruth wanted to change.

  • She's hot.

  • she would've been pretty hot as a guy.

  • When I clicked on this, I thought it was going to be about a girl wanting to become a man, so I guess the transition has been convincing!

  • I really don't know what I am...

I wish I were as brave as Ruth!

  • Shes pretty :]]

  • i clapped at the end.

i have have so much respect for people who are brave enough to do this, and then have it on the internet where thousands of people will be seeing it.

  • stay strong hun :)

  • I thunk your accent make you seem more femine

  • if you were born a male you are a male, if you are born a female then you are female. this male in this video is still a male.

  • @19t86 No. Gender is a social construct, it's not determined by your sex organs.

  • @19t86 its closed minded people like you that keep up from going forward in society!

  • i went to my GP and they havent done anything...i went again, still nothing...im thinking of going to a psychotheropist myself now...but im not sure how expensive it is...

  • This is not a girl whatever surgery has been performed, this is a BOY!

  • @masorlie Word.

  • You can tell hes a he -_-

  • Sweetheart, you're a girl. You look lovely. :)

  • she looks like a boy!

  • Whoever performed the operation did a really good job. You go girl.

  • whoa. science is crazy nowadays

  • i assume that the earlier someone goes through transgender surgery and treatment, the better the outcomes since female/male hormone balances have a huge impact on development of the body throughout adolescence and early adulthood

  • my name is Ronnie iam gay and wear panties ashamed of my sexuality and Iam scared to have a relationship not sure what I want to do

  • you can totally tell it a boy. bushy eyebrows, square jaw, thick neck and arms....

  • @300pzl She is not an "it" and she is not a "boy" and she looks like a she. Don't be rude.

  • @300pzl Plus, I am all woman, always have been and I have eyebrows on the bushier side, I have arms like hers. She looks female, not male.

  • It's hilarious that "female" choices don't apply to transgenders. Knowing that child bearing is not possible is a decision, not a condition. It only becomes a condition when one thinks that it is possible and then discovers that it is not. Sorry.

  • so are they girls or boys.

  • I am gay and wear panties and iam ashamed of my sexuality tired of being ashamed

  • @Ziggyquest123

you shouldnt be ashamed its the people that hate and are objective that should be ashamed of themselves

  • @Ziggyquest123 aw u have no reason to be ashamed! you are an inspiration and many people (including me) support u

  • looks like a guy with long hair and makeup...

  • I hope this isnt offensive but you turned into a good looking girl :)

  • "Good for her, she's beautiful."

No, good for her surgeon. If you're born with a penis then you're meant to have a penis. Unless you've got a vagina too.. But still.

  • @Jordan999919 It's hilarious how wrong you are about that.

  • At first i had no idea she was really a boy. She is lucky to be so beautiful.

  • shave.

  • guy with long hair...

  • breats, wooooo! :D

  • he looks like a he.....not a her...u all blind?

  • He looks 100% like a girl...except for the voice..which will be fixed once he will take female hormones..

  • @Theskullofhorrors trans language is very fluid and many people who transition physically prefer "transgender" to the more medical "transsexual". Moreover, just because someone doesn't have surgery and/or hormones doesn't mean that they're "acting" or necessarily not "transsexual". There are many reasons why people don't want hormones or surgery - medical reasons, family reasons, wealth etc.

@andrewjconners: I'm very grateful for who I am! Life is good :)

  • haters are sick ppl

  • trans ppl are some of the coolest ppl on earth

  • @KTevolved Why?

  • eww

  • why can't you just be grateful for who you are....?

  • I wish I had been so self-aware at her age. I'm now 31 and having be thinking about transitioning since I was 24. Yet I've felt different since I was 7 years old. Though I never understood how.

So all in all I'm rather confused.

  • Wish I had done that years ago.brave girl wish her luck.

  • Wow, u look great

  • Wow you look cute, glad things are going well for ya

  • You can't even tell!

  • The crying game

  • @Aniyra doctors are working on ways to give trans women that opportunity...

  • haha the voice is the only thing that gives it away

  • @WILD4X4D

frankly compared with other transgenders it doesn't sound that boyish

  • you felt like you were a female, so you had an operation?

  • I react to you as a young pretty woman. So, on basic instinct you were right. You're a girl. I'm glad it worked out.

  • wow ruth, you are very pretty :)

  • Sometimes I wish I could try living as a female for awhile. It would be really interesting.

  • @derekxnl no you dont im a female, monthly cycles suck!

  • this might be considered a stupid question the answer is probably no but i'm going to ask anyway. Can a Transgender who switches to Female get Pregnant? Just seems weird if your gonna switch gender you might as well should get the benefits of that gender which for Female is the birth of a human child.

  • is she not taking hormones?

  • wolfmother (Y)

  • need tobe respectful she is a she not a he have you listened to her i think she is beautiful well done good for you

  • @MsMandapanda29

Chromosomes and DNA are scientifically proven facts. If a women is XX and a man is XY. This person is a boy which he is.

If I put a tail on my ass, grow some body hair and bark, I won't be a dog, but just someone that is disillusional

  • Must be hard to come out and say...especially so young!! But at least she is happy now.

  • Good for you! For all you bashers: You know, we don't make fun you for being who you are. Don't do it to others until you are ready to call your own faults and find who you are. I know you say you don't have self esteem issues, but when you have to make fun of others for your own pleasure and/or to make yourself feel better, you do. I really feel sorry for you all. It's sad how much someone could hate.

  • well done honey, I wish I had your strength when I was your age

  • 0:28 He looks like Elija Wood

  • @TheSonomaDude ye lol, btw hes awsum in LotR

  • Ur a boy

  • @TheCrazychick112 Actually no she's not, but whatever think what you will. You are entitled to your opinion.

  • He's beautiful!

  • Unbiblical.

  • @Brynnium The Bible is a work of fiction.

  • why?

  • She looks like herself and she's cute as all get out. If I was single, I wouldn't mind dating her. But I'm spoken for.

  • this video is very nicely done! you explain things well and speak beautifully!

  • Rather hot in my opinion.

  • In the future they will have clone shells to transplant your brain in to. Maybe there is is female one for him?

  • Personally, I think she looks very beautiful and she seems like a great person. It's a very touching story and I thank you for sharing. I wish you all the luck and you're great for being so strong. :)

  • looks like a boy

  • Shes hot. :)

  • My goodness, she's wonderful. :D

  • I can't believe I met her, shes lovely as well. :)

  • Im a girl but I wanna be a boy! Even just for a day! I dont understand who someone that is born to be a boy wanna change to be a girl, what is the positivt things of being a girl?

  • @hellofallenangel beeing hot, having boobs, beeing able to manitpulate men (even if you don't do anything in return, men are just naturally nicer to women). beeing a man has it's ups and downs.

  • @hellofallenangel Why the hell do you want to be a boy? Are you mental?!

  • @hellofallenangel Curiosity of what it feels like.

  • @hellofallenangel Well why would you want to be a guy?

  • @hellofallenangel Going to a cycle is amazing :D

  • @hellofallenangel

    there are two:

    boobs

  • @hellofallenangel why would you want to be a boy?

  • @hellofallenangel being sexy :D

  • @hellofallenangel I love being a girl. You can get away with almost everything. Just start crying, let your bottom lip tremble, and people go crazy, haha. No, really, I love being a girl, obviously you don't. Let's just accept that.

  • @hellofallenangel he feels like a girl so why wouldnt he want to be one completely? and he cant have periods or anything so he gets all the plus' and no negatives

  • @BlakeGoodwell

    Why not call her 'she'?

  • This isn't meant as a rude question, but if you have had sexual reassignment surgery in the form of a neovaginoplasty, can you have sexual intercourse with a male? Would it be sexually stimulating for the new vagina, and if so in what way? Does it look like a normal vagina?

  • @karlkarlkarl1234

The surgery is little more than penis mutilation. It looks like a vagina but it is nothing more than a modified penis. Yes they can orgasm and be stimulated sexually because the nerves and erogenous parts of the penis are preserved in the surgery.

  • @karlkarlkarl1234 Do research. google "SRS surgery results," and there will plenty of links that pop up to show you what the Vagina looks like, explaining that it is sensitive, and how the sensitivity is made possible.

  • psycha-therapist?

  • @2008raptor250 - don't mock my accent!

  • wolfmother t shirt woohoo. :P

  • @bluepurpleglasses - you won't believe the amount of hilarious people on here commenting that I'm Not A Real Girl because I like hard rock and wear a band t-shirt. Seriously, people are stupid!

  • Female version of Daniel Radcliffe :)

  • Such a cool voice, really confidant.

  • I love this video, it makes me feel so much more comfortable as I am...

  • I felt that there was something different about me but for a very long time I hid that female that I just trapped inside me. But after my wife past away I began slowly living my life as the person that I am and for the first time in my life I have become a happy person. At first the hardest step was to make my body match my mind, so out came the hormone therapy followed by wearing makeup and the wearing of womans cloths. I'm not going the whole way with having SRS as I cannot afford it.

  • God, I swear I've met that girl somewhere. She's so pretty either way though :) She seems to have been treated differently by the NHS than I have though. NHS is annoying me on how it isn't treating people the same when it comes to waiting lists, etc.

  • @LilyRobinsonHynard - "I swear I've met that girl somewhere." Loads of people say this. I always look like their cousin or their friend from Wales or this girl they used to know or just vaguely familiar. I think I just have a very generic face or something(!)

  • What a good story. c: I'm glad things worked out for her. <3
