@1longshot3 Doth I agree. Pick is just an instrument to make that damn pickups pick a different sound. If you're a shitty player you'll suck both fingerstyle and pick, but you'll get the fundamentals right on one of the two. I personally prefer fingerstyle, as it gives the bass a smoother sound and allows me a tiny bit of flexibility more, but I don't really consider myself a better bassist than jason.
