Let me explain the facts to all haters and non believers...New Orleans is the birth place of American music! I'm a proud Choctaw Native from the 10th Ward Saint Thomas (Annunciation & Josephine St.) From Gospel, Rap (Not Hip-Hop), Rock, Blues, Jazz, RagTime, Funk and Country came from Congo Square (currently Trem'e) in the early 1700's. This is just a small part from the city that started it all. Check ya facts, great post. Ya heard me!
