Thanks for your help and i have purchased a tripple head2go Digital edition please guide me that if we use two or three projector. Is triple head2go have edge blending tool to make a big large display.
i will use the matrox just for gaming , the question is,can i play on 5040x1050 - with my hardware / without a second gpu and without losing massively FPS ?
I forgot to mention, my geforce GTX580 has dual DVI outputs, so could I get away with using a dual head to go if I plugged my main monitor into 1 DVI output from my GPU, and then plug the dualhead to go into the other DVI output, essentially having 3 monitors?
@58jtaylor Yes, since the GeForce GTX 580 is a compatible GPU, the DualHead2Go can be connected to the primary output of the graphics card to support two monitors while a third can be connected to the secondary output for a total of three displays.
But is there a way to make the two monitors NOT acting as one large. And rather 2? I have problems with this in Win7, with ATI Mobility Radeon and two 1280x1024..
@stefanwalle The Windows OS will always treat the two external monitors attached to the DualHead2Go as one very large monitor, but with Matrox’s unique PowerDesk Software and Desktop Management features, you can work just like in independent desktop mode. You can open and maximize a different application on each monitor instead of spanning them across the two.
@TheMatroxGraphics No, I have the PowerDesk Software installed, but it still can't be set in independant mode.. I have also downloaded the latest drivers without any luck. Also when pressing "Desktop Management" in the PowerDesk it says "No Matrox hardware detected". So I'm still stuck in the very large monitor :( Can you tell me what to do? I need to run every window not maximized here to make use of my two monitors..
@stefanwalle We will need additional details with regards to your hardware set up. Please contact our technical support team at 1-800-361-1408 (Toll-free in North America) or +1 514-822-6366 (International) so we can walk you through your configuration.
@iHateProNames With a DualHead2Go setup, the two external displays act as one large monitor so the notebook can only be placed either to the right or left hand side of the external displays. If you're interested in gaming, the TripleHead2Go is the option that you're looking for.
if I use 3 displays, can they be used by 3 different people using 3 seperate mice..?
