My older brother started out on the SSBN-658 in 1982. I know he went from Charleston SC to Kings Bay. I ended up too tall (6'7") and my ASVAB test in math was not good. Id rather turn a key than pull a trigger. GO GET THEM YOU F.U.C.Ks!!

As people know these are mostly obsolete now. Many of them are converted to troop transports.. insert 15 SEALS or (UDT sailors).

If he did that, Russia would probably panic, assume the war had started, and send a retaliatory strike against the US. The world would not be wonderful. Anyway, the commander can only fire with direct orders. This is different from the UK system where the commander can use nuclear weapons on his own initiative provided the XO and WEO are also agreed.

The Nebraska is actually based at Bangor, WA and has been for the last three and almost a half years, though it was in GA at the time this was filmed.

During the last international war games an Austrailian Submarine,not only tracked,but also got USS Ronald Ragon for days, but also got a simultaed kill.This is nt the Royal Navy,but the Royal Austrailain Navy submarine that was used was one of the loudest submarines in service.Bigger doesnt equall better.

Both of you are right: the UK gets the missiles from Lockheed (they load in Kings Bay; the D-5 was a joint US/UK project), but put domestically produced warheads in them.
