The Word of God became a man, was born of a Virgin, lived a life without sin, died upon the cross for the sins of the world, and rose up from the dead 3 days later. @TheHassanabdi Those who know the Lord Jesus Christ worship God the Father, and also honor the Son even as they honor the Father (John 5:22-23), pray to Him as we do the Father (John 13:13-14), and give Him the worshipful praise due to One who was active in the creation of the world (John 1:1-3) and who is equal to God in His divine nature (John 14:6-9). Please read Mark 2:5-12 carefully, to see that Jesus does have the authority to forgive sins, and exercises that authority. He also equates Himself to the Father in John 14, and tells us that we ought to honor Him even as we honor the Father (John 5:22-23). This tells us that He is God in His person and equal to God in the honor we should give Him.

@TheHassanabdi Brother, Jesus forgives a man's sins in Mark 2:1-12. He forgives him his sins, and the says "take up your bed and walk". See the entire verse, brother. Jesus also tells us that if we have seen Him, we have seen God Himself. For a creation of God to say such a thing is ridiculous, but such words amek sense if that Person is of the same nature as God. Jesus is not God the Father, but God the Son. Through whom we know and see God, in the flesh.

Jesus Christ is called God by St. Thomas, who said "My Lord and my God" to the Lord Jesus Christ after He had risen from the dead. Jesus is indeed under the Father, but is the power and nature of the Holy God, in flesh. He came from the Father, was born to the Virgin Mary, and is Saviour. And Jesus' suffering and dying for us was prophesied in Isaiah, as well. He could have saved Himself, but chose to die for us, that through His death and resurrection those who believe in Him and belong to Him might have eternal life, and be reconciled to God forever. That is much more powerful than avoiding the cross!

I also used to find the idea of going through anyone to access God ridiculous. Until it dawned on me that the genuine and God-fearing Christians I knew had a much deeper, more personal, peaceful, and indwelling walk with God than I did, even though I prayed often and believed in one god. In Christ, I have their peace, as well.

You are right about prayer to saints- while many Catholics do pray to saints, you will find no Biblical example of early Christians doing this. It is a respected practice, but it is not correct. The Bible says there is One God, and One Mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ. Early Christians also prayed to Him as God, as shown in Acts 7:59.

@TheHassanabdi Jesus also says that all should honor Him even as we honor the Father (John 5:22-23) and accepts both worship and prayers as God's Son (John 9:35-38 and John 13:13-14). So while there is One God, we also honor and worship Him when we honor His Son and Servant Jesus, who reveals the Father to us in flesh (John 14:6-9).

@TheHassanabdi The Bible says that Jesus is also God in His nature and being. John 1:1 says this, and John 17:5 describes the Son as pre-existant, and as sharing in God's glory. It is not a sin to honor Jesus as God because He came forth from the Father, and is divine because of this. He is the Word of God and Son of God, who deserves to be honored even as the Father is honored (John 5:22-23).

In other words, Hassan, His deity has its source in the Father Himself. He came forth from God, has the same nature as the Father, and because He came forth from the Father, is under Him. @TheHassanabdi Also brother, the Holy Spirit has always existed, but did not always dwell forever in beleiver's hearts. Jesus made that possible, and told the disciples to wait for the Comforter while they were still in Jerusalem (Acts 1:4). The Spirit came then, in Jerusalem, to comfort and minister to the early Christians. So we can see the Spirit is God's force and power who came in Jerusalem, not a man coming many generations later in another land.

But there was a Messiah of God, who was born in Bethlehem in a cave for sheltering animals, whose name was Yeshua (Yasou in Arabic), who was crucified, and who rose from the dead. He is described in the Gospels, and revered by Christians.

@TheHassanabdi The context of that verse (Matthew 20) is not the forgiveness of sins, bro, but the ranking of saints in Heaven. Please read Mark 2:5-12 carefully, to see that Jesus does have the authority to forgive sins, and exercises that authority. He also equates Himself to the Father in John 14, and tells us that we ought to honor Him even as we honor the Father (John 5:22-23). This tells us that He is God in His person and equal to God in the honor we should give Him.

All authority has been given Him by the Father, and because He does what the Father does, and has always been, and came forth from the Father, He deserves to be honored as our Saviour, Lord, and King. @TheHassanabdi Brother, Jesus forgives a man's sins in Mark 2:1-12. He forgives him his sins, and the says "take up your bed and walk". See the entire verse, brother. Jesus also tells us that if we have seen Him, we have seen God Himself. For a creation of God to say such a thing is ridiculous, but such words amek sense if that Person is of the same nature as God. Jesus is not God the Father, but God the Son. Through whom we know and see God, in the flesh.

Jesus forgives the man, brother, and when the Pharisees express amazement that Jesus forgoves sins "for who can forgove sins but God alone?" Jesus then tells the man to get up and walk, and he is healed. God the Father is the True God, brother. And Jesus is His Son, Word, and fully God in His nature. Otherwise brother, He could not have said "if you see Me, you see the Father" (John 14:6-9).

And people also called upon Him to save them and have mercy on them, and He did (Matthew 20:30-34). @TheHassanabdi Adam is a son of God because God made him directly. But Jesus Christ was not made from the earth, but was given to the womb of the virgin Mary by the holy power of God. Therefor He is God's Son in a literal and unique way. Jesus also does not say He is not good- He just asks a question, and elsewhere calls Himself the Good Shepherd (John 10:11). Jesus will indeed judge the living and the dead on the last day. He is under the Father, brother, yet the person of God, with us.

Jesus Christ is called God by St. Thomas, who said "My Lord and my God" to the Lord Jesus Christ after He had risen from the dead. And while Jesus restricted much of His ministry to the Jews, He also preached to Samaritans (John 4:1-42) and instructed His disicples to tell all nations about Him, and baptize them in His Name (Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus showd Himself to the Jews fist, for out of the Jews and in response to Jewish prophecy, Jesus came. Yet He came as Saviour of the world, too.

@graceinmay The meaning of SON OF GOD is not literal but METAPHORICAL.The word "son of god" does not apply only to jesus [pbuh].You will see sons and daughters of GOD [2 corrinthians 6:8 ] "And will be a father unto you,and ye shall be my sons and daughters,saith the LORD almighty."

@TheHassanabdi Actually, brother, He does identify Himself as God's Son clearly in John 9:35-38. He also tells us that all should honor Him (the Son) even as they honor the Father (God) (John 5:22-23), and He indeifies Himself as the Father, in person (John 14:6-9). All the patriarchs worshipped YHWH, the Father, and looked forward to Messiah, who is the Word of God, and the Son of God, to be honored as the Father.

@TheHassanabdi Aditionally, Jesus stopped evil spirits from saying He was the Son of God. Yet when humans ask who He is, He tells them He is God's Son, and lets them bow before Him (John 9:35-38). This is because the evil spirits did not honor Him respectfully, and were unclean. But to those who wished to honor Him respectfully and worship Him, He told them that He is God's Son.

@TheHassanabdi Also, Jesus asked Peter not to tell others that He was the Messiah of God in Luke 9:20-21, not the Son of God. Jesus affirmed that He was the Christ, and asked His disicples not to tell anyone. This was a fact of Him between the disciples and Himself, for a time. When He rose, all who could see the empty tomb could know for themselves that He is the Messiah.

Further Christians have concepts of Patron Saints eg Saint Francis of Assisi is known as the patron saint of animals, the environment, St Pancras is patron saint of children etc(these are pagan concepts eg pagan gods of love, wealth) Now most of what I mention relates to Catholicism which is the mother of all churches today. The concept of trinity is true for most Christians. Christianity is not monotheistic religion. It is my firm unwavering belief that Christianity is an incorrect dogma.

@TheHassanabdi Hey, brother. Actaully I am talking about One God, who chose to make Himself known and tangible through His Son and Messiah, Jesus. And Jesus' suffering and dying for us was prophesied in Isaiah, as well. He could have saved Himself, but chose to die for us, that through His death and resurrection those who believe in Him and belong to Him might have eternal life, and be reconciled to God forever. That is much more powerful than avoiding the cross!

@Fardi24 I also believe in One God, friend. Who has revealed Himself to us personally through Jesus, the Messiah. Not because He had to, but because He wanted to. I also used to find the idea of going through anyone to access God ridiculous. Until it dawned on me that the genuine and God-fearing Christians I knew had a much deeper, more personal, peaceful, and indwelling walk with God than I did, even though I prayed often and believed in one god. In Christ, I have their peace, as well.

@graceinmay The very premise of being a Christian means one worships 3-gods-in-one. god The Father, god The Son and god the Holy Spirit-all are different forms of god; never mind the son-Jesus-calls out to the Father(in the Bible) yet he is also supposed to be a god. I studied in a Catholic Convent high school read the Bible and attended mass-I witnessed Christians asking saints to intercede for them and people telling priests their sins so that their sins could be forgiven...

@Fardi24 Actually we worship One God through His Son, in the Holy Spirit. You are right about prayer to saints- while many Catholics do pray to saints, you will find no Biblical example of early Christians doing this. It is a respected practice, but it is not correct. The Bible says there is One God, and One Mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ. Early Christians also prayed to Him as God, as shown in Acts 7:59.

Others say all three are gods. Also how can an incorrect practice be a 'respected' one? You see the God I worship whose miracles I see every day in my life is truly ONE God. You pray that you will be counted worthy to enter Jannah, but there is no guarantee that you will, Fardi. God through His Son, however, gives us promises. Not because we can ever earn or deserve to be with Him forever in Heaven, but because He loves us, and desires to save us. And it's a desire that He has done something about, in history.

@graceinmay Sure there is no guarantee I will enter Jannah but my God, Allah is merciful and just..I will reap what I sow...He amplifies my goodness and doesn't overstate any evil I do...but tell me if the philosophy is that as a Christian one is guaranteed reward and paradise just by believing in Jesus...that means one can kill, rape etc and expect to enter heaven simply because they 'believe'. Maybe the majority won't do these things what about those who do evil yet firmly believe in Jesus?

@Fardi24 Actually brother, Christ saves us through our trust in Him, and asks us to follow Him, and obey Him. I know what you mean, too many Christians say, falsely that belief is enough, and we can live any way we like. But Christ calls us to come to Him for salvation, healing, and forgiveness, and with the new life He's given us, follow Him. There is a difference between believeing things about Jesus and living in sin, and believing and trusting in Him, and thankfully doing what He has aksed.

If you say you love Him, and do evil and do not repent or turn back to Him, but keep sinning, He has not left you, but you have left Him. Faith in Jesus Christ, real faith, is a partnership between us, and Him. He will never leave us, but if we turn our back on Him by sinning and hating His commands, and never repenting, we have left Him.

He tells us that to see Him and know Him is to see and know God, the Father (John 14:6-9). No one can say that unless they are God, in essence and nature. @TheHassanabdi , fastest does not mean right ? Jesus Christ said that the way to life is very narrow and very few find it, but the way to destruction is wide and the majority of people go down that road.
Remember that unlike Muhammd that accepted Satans gift of this earth with all its glory, Jesus Christ rejected it all, because his kingdom is not of the world but from above.
So the very earth that Muslims want to somehow rule is facing certain destruction from almighty God with fire.
