  • A fine meatloaf dinner while listening to Minnie Riperton....Nice.

  • where do you by gravy

  • uh.....can you make it plain gravy?

  • I made the recipe yesterday. The only problem I had was that the gravy was tasteless untill I added more pepper and salt. But loved the recipe! Thanks

  • @Lovelyleo1978 The soup base I use is quite salty so I wouldn't usually add any but the best thing about cooking is making it the way you like it. Thanks for commenting and posting your suggestions!

  • Loved the video! You make it look so simple that I will have to try it. Thanks for sharing

  • @Lovelyleo1978 Thanks for commenting!

  • Loved the video! Thanks for sharing!

  • @TheAnn1948 Thanks for commenting!

  • didn't even know wtf a meatloaf was? but your great dude, dont think you meant to be funny but you had me laughing with the wine bit, all the best mate

  • @genup1234 It's not so much I mean to be funny, I just can't help the way I look! Thanks for commenting.

  • You remind me of my dad, they way you cook and listen to music. Except you're probably a good cook.

  • I like how Loving you is playing while they sit down with meatloaf and wine...smh! Looked juicy though!

  • It is good but trust me, I'm not your type. According to my wife, I'm nobody's type.

  • I'll bet that meatloaf tastes good! look at his belly? I have fallen in love!!!!!!!

  • @tubebitch12 It is good but trust me, I'm not your type. According to my wife, I'm nobody's type.

  • great job.

  • bullshit, you dudes are a couple of FAGS!

  • @porn1978 Well despite the fact that you are wrong, who cares?

  • @treasurer6 ..Lol yeah sure!

  • @treasurer6 - Can you use bullion cubes if you can't get the liquid version?

  • @VirgilB01 Yes, they will work fine. Enjoy!

  • @treasurer6 - Thanks!

  • im hungry tumbs up who is the same

  • @djforlife54 Sadly, me. I am alwyas hungry!

  • THEIR GAY!?!?!?!??! ?????

  • @phillydevilboy92 Actually not.

  • @phillydevilboy92 hey small minded.. and what would be IF they were. how could this possibly affect ANYTHING?

  • I prefer Bill, sorry. He was the first guy I saw when I watched (and made) the standing rib roast.....BRING BACK BILL !!!

  • @getchasumm Har! I'll tell him to get with it.

  • pff i read some offensive shit here -.- , have some respect will ya, little kids.

thnx for this video i will try this out ^^ look good.

  • what kind of pepper was tossed into the gravy?

  • is this a gay cooking show?

  • Nope. Despite living in BC, Canada (I'm proud to say, one of the first jurisdictions in the world to legalize gay marriage), Bill and I are just good friends. I have a wonderful wife and if Bill was gay, I'm sure he could do better than a fat old guy.

  • Should have called it "Meatloaf with the shit in it I like."

  • Next time!

  • wow you really lost alot of weight keep it up

  • How kind of you to notice. It is not easy for someone who loves food as much as me!

  • Would this amount of gravy be sufficient if say, baked or mashed potato were served alongside the meatloaf...? (That's how we meatloaf was usually served, when I was growing up, with potato. I can't think of anything else that would go with this.)

  • Just double up on the gravy recipe and you'll have lots for potatoes!

  • thanks for the recipe, since i saw your video over 2 years ago, my husband, keeps bothering me to make it each xmas.....jajaja....thanks for sharing, and the gravy recipe is delicious.......

  • Thank you so much for letting me know how it turned out and commenting!

  • lovin you is easy coz your boobs are huge''' nice song at the end there bro never trust a skinny chef !

  • wut would be a good meat like chicken turkey beef or pork people use these meat but wut would be a good meat for meatloaf

  • All of those would make a good meatloaf.

  • i made this recipie, and its very nice made then eaten the next day

  • MMM, I love leftover meatloaf too. Try it in a sandwich!

  • R you 2 gay? if it's not too personal

  • Nope, just good friends!

  • Ok, I'm somehow relieved!

  • You should rename your videos to "Just Good Friends" lol

  • After watching this for a couple of months -sigh-, I am finally going to cook it tonight .... -smile-

    :-)

    can't wait.

  • wtf Quyen LOL

  • lmfao @ dan.

  • Thank you for sharing this recipe, it is great and easy to do

  • cool, so easy to follow..thanks!! Will try

  • Have done!

  • bovril reminds me of being at Livi football games when i was young.

    that stuff is manky.

  • Har! It is pretty strong stuff but it makes a good gravy!

  • at the football we used to drink it like tea or coffee.

thats another one for scotlands coronary failure.

  • That does sound somewhat vile. I guess I am lucky to be Canadian! However, I have always wanted to go to Scotland.

  • Come.

  • You, sir, are a very succint salesperson!

  • hey this was great.. i use the onion soup mix. my boyfriend and i loved it... great video too

  • Great! Glad it turned out. Thanks for letting us know.

  • yea i used crackers though . still worked out very nice

  • I'm in Glasgow. Come to Scotland and you can kip here and feed me... lololol

Incidentally, I have a million and one Farrell relatives,... "the Irish division...."

  • i have a question. what is the black sauce you used to make the gravy called?

  • I used a generic beef stock base. You can use Bovril or OXO cubes or any liquid or dry beef stock base.

  • Nothing like a good meatloaf ! Just think - you two are showing the world our Canadian recipes and giving them a birds eye view of the Great White North. Very nice series of videos. Congrats !

  • You are most kind! I'm blushing!

  • i think his col. sanders

  • huh?

  • thank you n please make more video

  • Thank you for the encouragement!

  • wut can i use beside that pan for the meatloaf

  • Any oven proof container. An 8 in square cake pan would even do.

  • MMM the Spanish food sounds great. I look forward to it!

As for visiting America, I am Canadian but have been to the US many times. You will have a wonderful trip I'm sure.

  • Love too Tbone rocks!!!

Well, that's great how you cook if u want you can watch the videos I want to make in the future about spaniard cuisine like paella, judias con chorizo, fabada asturiana an so on, but I prefer to go to a foster's hollywood an eat either a piece of meat or a barbecued burger than typical dishes from here I'm fed up of them, so I've decided to go to texas next summer to dine in a setakhouse, :)and eat a lot and visit america

    Could it be fine Sir?

  • Can you prepare a good t-bone steak sir?

  • I love a tbone. I like it barbecued or done with peppercorns and brandy sauce in a fry pan.

  • Okay, now you got me hooked. This one tops my recipe for meatloaf. I'm tired of seeing my meatloaf ending up in the dog bowl so I'm going to try yours out.

  • The meat loaf is average until you put the gravy on it. The gravy makes it a treat!

  • Yum...I agree. Do you think it would freeze okay? I would like to start cooking on the week-end and serve during the week.

  • You have several choices. Make it up and put it in the loaf pan, cover it and freeze it uncooked. Put it in the fridge the night before you want to serve it and cook as usual.

Or, you could make it all up, cut it into individual servings, put each serving in a zip lock bag with some gravy and freeze. Thaw and reheat it in the microwave with the gravy. MMMM.

Freezing and reheating the whole meatloaf might make it a little dry.

  • Good advise, if I had just used my brain!!!

  • What kind of sauce did u put in the onion gravy to turn it brown. I'm not a good cook.

  • Any kind of liquid concentrated beef bouillon. Bovril is a well known brand name but any will do.

  • im going to make this,

it's going to be my first meat loaf

    D:

    and nice dancing moves;

    ahahahaa, D:

    <3333333

  • Good luck! Let me know how it turns out. I think you will really like the gravy.

However, if you think I have nice dancing moves, you may want to see your optometrist!

  • If you add a little more bread crumbs it'll hold together better in the end when you go to slice it!

  • Thanks for the suggestion However, a lot of the crumbling was due to my friends knives that were beyond dull.

  • Got Some in the Oven Right Now!!

  • How did it turn out?

  • Haha... very entertaining! And it should be yummy too! 5/5

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Kicking? Does it have frogs legs in it? Not a bad idea.

  • No effense bud, but you suck at cutting meatloaf.

  • Yum! Is your wife doing the filming? I really enjoy your videos.

  • someone didn't watch the whole video huh

this makes me want to cook..

cook meatloaf specifically. it looks great

  • Despite the comments from one on this page, I love meatloaf. Thanks for watching!

  • No, she thinks I'm crazy. she is likely right!

  • Thanks for the help

  • Im sorry, but meatloaf is a pretty disgusting concept, im british and im watching this because i always wondered what meatloaf was...haha i dont think we're really missing out...but each to their own i suppose...

    peaceout!

  • Anybody else amused by the irony of a British person calling a meal disgusting?

Are you aware of what your country's cuisine is *known* for, good sir?

  • Considering England is known for stuff like jellied eels, I'd take meatloaf over that any day. Imagine a hamburger that's big enough to eat with a knife and fork. Same basic ingrediants.

  • Fast and easy. I like meatloaf. Thanks.

  • I never eat Meatloaf, I will try your recipe tonight.

    Again, I love your vid's!!!

  • I bought the ingredients, i'll put it in the oven right after Chris Walken's chicken with pears.

I am from Holland, I have never eaten meatloaf before, I wonder if it's as good as I think it is.

We only have meatballs in my country...

  • Trying this out on friday but going to make some adjustments. Could you tell me... I want to add some apples to the meatloaf, would i just chop it up and put it in with the meatloaf when mixing it before cooking? Also are there any other sauces other then gravy you know of that work well with it? like a sour cream sauce? Something more suitable for the upcoming summer nights.

  • Yes, you can just chop the apples up and put them in but it will make the meatloaf more crumbly. You might wish to add an egg for each apple used.

If you want a lighter sauce, check out the apple gravy in the pork roast video. Another option would be your favourite tomato sauce mixed 2 to 1 with a dry red wine. Another option would be salsa. I love salsa with meat loaf!

  • Thanks alot. I will definitely try the apple gravy out sometime. I think i'll just use normal gravy tommorow. But i'll change it about if i like Meatloaf, i have never had it. I live in England it's not really a popular dish as far as i know. I will let you know how i get on. Can't wait to try some of your other recipes.

  • Good luck!

  • Going to try this next week .. Lasagna was great my kids love it , so hoping this will go down well too :) x

  • Enjoy!

  • I just made this. It was great.

    You rock.

    Thanks James

  • Thanks for letting me know how it turned out!

  • how would you like it if I called you a pommy cow????

  • i love it

  • Thanks!

  • i love how the grease soundtrack is playing in the background!!! LOL

  • lol.....

  • Nice, but you can improve the flavor by adding garlic, fresh onions, parsely and it will not crumble if you add 3/4 of a cup of breadcrums. To your wonderful looking gravy, add a cup of the wine you were drinking; it gives a nice tang and color. Tank you!

  • MAA! GET THE MEATLOAF!

  • onion gravy ..yummmm. I make hamburger gravy and poor it over rice sometimes.

  • Excuse me for my enthusiasm, gravy rocks.

  • You can make low fat gravy. Fry some onions in a nonstick pan and then use beef bovril water and flour to make a gravy!

  • Very nice recipe. Even though you had gravy, I'm surprised you didn't make some sauce for the crust of the meatloaf.

  • Thanks for the comment.

I kind of thought it would be overkill with the gravy but I do like a mixture of ketchup, brown sugar and mustard on my meatloaf if I don't make gravy.

  • I'm too old for beautiful girls!
