SmartGrowers - Planting Leeks in your raised bed

Yeap, they grow just fine. It's a great way to get more leek out of a small area. The leeks tend to grow a bit smaller when they are clumped together like this but you have more of them.  Overall you get way more leek growing this way.

Is it really OK to plant so many plants in one hole? Did you thin them out later or just let them all grow? How did they come out?
