The Mayhole is more than a feminist alternative to the Maypole. It was begun by students of color as an alternative to May Day's privileging of whiteness as well as of patriarchal hetero-normativity.

Lordy. That is the fastest May Pole I have ever seen. More like a sprint. And the chanting/hysteria, what a hoot.
